Both teams share a point each. With this the North Delhi Strikers become the fourth team to qualify for the semis after East Delhi Riders, South Delhi Superstarz and Purani Delhi-6.

We might have a delay in start with regards to this game as well. The outfield is damp too courtesy all the rain that has been pouring in since the afternoon.

Games are coming thick and fast in the Delhi Premier League 2024, as North Delhi Strikers and East Delhi Riders are all set to face off in the second league-stage game of the season at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi, on Wednesday (September 4).
The East Delhi Riders, who are currently at the top of the table, have already qualified for the knockouts of the DPL 2024 after winning seven out of eight matches played this year.
In their last outing, the Riders thumped the West Delhi Lions. Batting first, explosive knocks from Anuj Rawat and Himaat Singh took them to 222/6, before the all-round bowling took them home with a 52-run massive win.
The North Delhi Strikers, on the other hand, haven't qualified for the knockout, but a mammoth victory over the Riders could help them finish over the Central Delhi Kings and qualify in the top four.
In their last counter, the Strikers humbled the South Delhi Superstaz. Batting first, gung-ho stuff from Yash Dabas and Vaibhav Rawal helped them post 209/4 on the board. Meanwhile, Siddhartha Solanki's 5 for 19 sealed a handsome 61-run win for the Strikers.
