So, that also brings a wrap to our coverage of this game between West Delhi Lions and Central Delhi Kings. For now, this is me Hiren Kumar singing off on behalf of my co-commentator Gaurav and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. CHEERS!!
Shaurya Malik (Player of the Match): "It was my first opportunity. The coaches are good. Captain also backs us. The plan was to be positive and play aggressive cricket. I wanted to be optimistic. Thank you."
Player of the Match: Shaurya Malik
Jonty Sidhu (Captain Central Delhi Kings): "We will stay in a hotel and will keep an eye on tomorrow’s match as that will decide whether we will move to the next round or not. We posted a good total in the first innings which helped us to defend it with the ball."
Super Striker of the Match:  Lakshay Thareja
Best Catch of the Match: Jonty Sidhu
Damdaar Most Fours: Ankit Kumar
Game Changing Sixes: Aryan Gupta
Time for presentation.
Shivank Vashisht (Captain West Delhi Lions): "Yes, we are a bit disappointed. 180 runs was really chaseable but we didn’t bat well. We will look to come back stronger next year and put our best foot forward to better performance.
22:43 IST & Local Time | West Delhi Lions are bundled out for 121 and Central Delhi Kings win by 58 runs. They are well and truly alive in the tournament but will need to depend on some results now. They were clinical with both bat and ball. So, here is how this game panned out.

Opting to bat first, Central Delhi Kings did a brilliant job and posted a good enough total of 179/7 at the end of their 20 overs. They did lose an early wicket but Vishant Bhati and Dhruv Kaushik steadied the ship and scored 42 and 26 runs respectively.

Skipper Jonty Sidhu and Aryan Rana were also brilliant lower down the order and scored 37 and 39 runs respectively and helped their team get around the 180 mark.

With the ball, the West Delhi Lions were pretty ordinary tonight. They did pick up wickets in the death but leaked too many in the middle phase. Akhil Chaudhry and Deepak Punia were the pick of the bowlers and picked up 2 wickets each.

Coming to the chase, Central Delhi Lions were outstanding with the new ball and picked up 4 wickets inside the powerplay and almost sealed the game there.

Money Grewal and Shaurya Malik were the pick of the bowlers for them and picked up 3 wickets each. Impact player Rajneesh Dadar was also impressive and picked up 2 wickets to his name.

With the bat, there were not much positives for West Delhi Lions. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and failed to build up partnerships. Skipper Shivank Vashisht and Ekansh Dobal were the top scorers for them and scored 43 and 33 runs respectively.

Stay around for the presentations
18.3 M Grewal to S Gahlot
W OUT! Cleaned him up. ALL OVER! West Delhi Lions have won the match by 58 runs. They just outplayed their opponent in all the departments. Grewal picks up the last wicket and his third in the match. Yorker on off, Gahlot looks to block it but gets beaten with the pace and ball goes onto hit the stumps. That's the fall of last wicket and Grewal looks elated.
Saksham Gahlot comes in at no.11.
18.2 M Grewal to T Dabla
W WICKET! 9 down now. Short of a length ball, into the stumps, Dabla looks to pull and pulls it straight to the man at deep mid wicket who takes it comfortably. Can they bat out 20 overs?
