That is the coverage of the DPL. For now, this is me Hrutuja Deshmukh signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav brought you all the live action of this fixture. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Aayush Singh Thakur (Player of the Match) - "I am not doing anything different, sometimes the plan in the matches doesn't execute but I will try to excel in all matches, Powerplays are for swinging the ball and death overs are for trying variations, I have a good guide from my camp and huge support too"
Player of the Match: Aayush Singh Thakur.
Arpit Rana(Purani Delhi-6 Captain): "We planned something and bowlers have executed it. Good thing is that they have done well. We had the belief in our player. Lalit and Keshav took the game deep and they went berserk at the end to give us a victory."

22:29 IST and Local Time | What a spectacular showdown we've just witnessed in the 24th match of the Delhi Premier League! The Purani Delhi-6 have stormed to a resounding victory, clinching the match by 6 wickets a margin that leaves no room for doubt about their dominance today!

The West Delhi Lions took to the crease first, putting up a total of 139 runs certainly a competitive score, but was it enough? Not by a long shot! Purani Delhi-6 stepped onto the pitch with fire in their bellies and the crowd could sense it from the very first ball!

Arpit Rana came out swinging, smashing 20 off just 13 deliveries, setting the tone for what was to come. Manjeet followed suit, crafting a steady 32 off 26, keeping the scoreboard ticking. But the real showstopper was Keshav Dalal what an innings from this young man! 47* runs off 30 balls, a performance that left the opposition scratching their heads and the fans roaring with delight! And let’s not forget Lalit Yadav, who made sure there were no late surprises, chipping in with a crucial 17* off 16 to see his team home. It was a chase executed to perfection!

On the flip side, it was a day to forget for the West Delhi Lions. Their bowlers, led by Rahul Gahlot and Shivank Vashish, each managed to pick up a wicket, while Saksham Gahlot grabbed two. But it simply wasn’t their day nothing seemed to click, and Purani Delhi-6 made them pay for it!

In the end, it’s Purani Delhi-6 who walk away with a commanding win by 6 wickets! They’ve sent a clear message to the rest of the league this team means business! The Lions, on the other hand, will need to go back to the drawing board after a tough outing. But tonight, the spotlight shines brightly on Purani Delhi-6!
18.1 R Yadav to L Yadav
6 SIXXXX!!!! Lalit Yadav finishes things off in style. Rohit bowls a full delivery at the outside off line. Lalit leans in and he swings his bat. He gets enough power on his shot and the ball sails over long off for a maximum.
5 needed from 2 overs. Rohit Yadav comes back to bowl the penultimate over.

17.6 D Punia to K Dalal
2 Good length delivery outside off. Dalal punches it aerially over covers for a couple of runs. 18 from the over and handling Punia the ball for the 18th over has turned out to be blunder from Hrithik Shokeen.
