18:03 IST and Local Time- The North Delhi Strikers eventually finish off with 196/8 in their 20 overs. They've lost by a big margin of 112 runs and it has been a historic victory for the South Delhi Superstarz. They were sensational with the bat early on as they put on a record breaking 308 runs on the board and with the ball they were good enough to keep their opponents down below 200.
Kandpal started off with a bang for the North Delhi Strikers as he picked up a few boundaries early on. Raghav Singh however put the brakes on the scoring early on as he managed to pick up Ranjan and Kandpal both in the powerplay. He picked up Dabas in the seventh over and the Strikers were reeling at 46/3.
Yajas Sharma and Vaibhav Rawal built up a bit of a partnership as Rawal in particular was severe against Digvesh Rathi. But the leg spinner had the final laugh as he picked up the wicket of Rawal as the North Delhi side lost their fifth wicket. Sharma was waging a lone battle at that point of time as the South Delhi Superstarz were running through the batters.
Yajas Sharma was eventually dismissed for 32 by Digvesh Rathi but it was Pranshu Vijayran who showed some fight back with a rare guard action. He helped the North Delhi Strikers to put up a respectable total on the board before being dismissed for a personal score of 62 runs.
Among the bowlers, Raghav Singh picked up three wickets while Digvesh Rathi was also impressive with his two wickets. Yadav picked up a wicket while Mathur also chipped in with one along with Panchal.
