22:58 IST and Local Time | Lakshay Thareja's resistance comes to an end and the Central Delhi Kings have been bundled out for a meagre 132 runs in 17.4 overs. The South Delhi Superstarz have crushed them and have outplayed their opponents in both aspects of the game to notch up a mammoth victory by 122 runs. Digvesh Rathi was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets while Kuldip Yadav and Anushuman Hooda chipped in with two wickets each.
Central Delhi Kings began the run chase on a high as they got off to a good start. However they couldn't sustain the momentum as Kaushik and Balyan were dismissed soon. Arpit Rana and Jonty Sidhu also tried to up the momentum and they got some boundaries and sixes in their favor. They got to 68/3 at the end of the powerplay.
However they lost their way completely as the spinners ran through the batters. Rathi was unplayable as he picked up a bunch of wickets and Badoni was a perfect support to him as he picked up a wicket as well. The Kings lost seven wickets inside the 12th over and the game went away from their grasp.
Once the Central Delhi Kings had lost eight wickets it was all down to the spinners of South Delhi. Lakshay Thareja staged a mini fightback with a good knock to save the blushes. He was finally dismissed by Anshuman Hooda who came back and knocked off the tail to finish of the game.
