Milestone
Alright, thats the end of this Test Match which finishes off in 3 days. South Africa have won the Test Series 1-0 against the West Indies.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of co-commentator Deepak Prakash who, along with scorer/analysts Bishal Mandal brought all the actions of this third and final days play of this Test Match. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
South African skipper Temba Bavuma receives the series trophy and joins his teammates for the photoshoot.
STAT ATTACK - Keshav Maharaj is the leading wicket-taker (171) in Tests for South Africa in the spinner category.
Temba Bavuma (South Africa Captain): "Yeah the emotions were a little bit up and down. At the end it was a proper test match cricket. Really glad that the weather held up in this venue. The bowlers did a phenomenal job to get us back in the game and at the end we came out victorious.

Yeah the guys have been brilliant as a unit. The batters lack a bit of experience but we will learn from here. Rabada has been leading the pace attack, Keshav has been brilliant too so everyone takes their own responsibilities.

Well I think we still haven't played our best cricket, as we keep playing more games, we will gain a lot of experience and become a better cricket side."
Kraigg Brathwaite (West Indies Captain): "We didn’t put up enough runs, and that was crucial in this game. It was quite similar to the first Test. The mindset was to show intent, but we couldn’t build partnerships.

There was some fight from Motie and the lower order, but we played some rash shots in the first innings, which proved crucial.  We didn’t do enough to get ahead in the game, though we fought back well. The sky's the limit for us.

Jayden Seales and Shamar Joseph have been exciting, and with the experienced Kemar Roach in the team, we have a strong bowling unit."
Keshav Maharaj (Player of the Series): "Yeah it was up there as one of my favorite test matches. We as a transition phase in our team, we enjoyed a lot and there were a lot of positives to take away from this game.

Yeah as I have said, I really like to work on my basics and work hard in the practice games. Temba has always backed spin. I have played under him quite a number of times so yeah really happy with the way we played in this test series."
Player of the Series - Keshav Maharaj
Wiaan Mulder (Player of the Match): "I haven't played a Test match yet, so my goal is to focus on this series first. I've tried to play as much cricket as possible and always give my best while keeping things simple. I bowled wobble seam deliveries and managed to swing the ball. I'm pleased with my performance."

Time for the post-match presentation...
02:56 IST & 17:26 Local Time| Thats it! The 2 Match Test Match Series belongs to the Proteas who win the series decider by 40 runs against West Indies.

It was a really hard fought test match as at the end of the day the visitors have taken the important points and the test series. Temba Bavuma opted to bat first and his team did not get off to a good start.

South Africa in their 1st Innings with the bat were 97/7 and it was the 63 run partnership between Nandre Burger and Dane Piedt to the rescue as they were bowled out for 160. Shamar Joseph picked up his first Five-Wicket Haul in Home Soil.

In reply, West Indies didnot get off to an ideal start either as South African seamers were all over the top order of the home side. Even West Indies were 97/7 and it was the 40 run partnership between Jason Holder and Shamar Joseph who decreased the deficit and eventually they were bundled out for 144. Wiaan Mulder was the pick of the bowlers with figures off 4/32.

In the 2nd Innings with a lead of 16 runs, South Africa walked out to bat really positively. They added a 79 runs opening start and post the lunch break in Day 2, West Indies fought back and picked up 3 wickets in quick successions. But the 6th wicket partnership between Kyle Verreynne and Wiaan Mulder added 85 runs to get them to a really solid position at the end of the day on Day 2.

The first hour of Day 3 belonged to West Indies who wrapped up the South African Innings quickly and were set a target of 263 runs to chase in the 4th Innings which was not easy to bat on. West Indies once again did not start well with the bat. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and badly required a good partnership.

The big partnership came in for the 7th Wicket between Joshua da Silva and Gudakesh Motie who added 77 runs together. South Africa broke the partnership courtesy of Keshav Maharaj who has picked 3 wickets in the Innings. KG Rabada ends up with 299 Test Wickets, one wicket away from the milestone.

A fantastic end to the test match as South Africa held their nerve and eventually bundled out West Indies for 222. The Visitors win the test match by 40 runs. They also win the 2 Match Test Series 1-0.
66.2 K Maharaj to J Seales
W WICCKETTT!! David Bedingham takes the catch and its South Africa who win the test match and the series. A really hard fought test series which at the end belongs to the visitors. Excellent catch by Bedingham who takes it and off they go to celebrate. Jayden Seales cant believe it as he is still at the crease wondering what he has done.

Talking about the ball, flighted delivery around off, Seales presses forward looking to defend, gets an inside edge to short leg where Bedingham takes a really good catch. South Africa win by 40 runs!
66.1 K Maharaj to J Seales
4 FOURRR!! Fuller delivery outside off, in the arc of Seales who lofts it over the mid off fielder for a boundary.
West Indies need 45 runs to win while South Africa need one wicket.
