That's all we have for you folks as the 2 Match Test Series between Pakistan and Bangladesh comes to an end. A memorable test series win for the Bangla Tigers.

For now this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ninaad Dixit and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer as we brought all the live ball by ball actions of this day! Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. TATA BYE BYE 👋🏼
Najmul Hossain Shanto has been handed over the trophy as he joins him team who lift it altogether. A Test Series victory which they will remember for many many years to come!
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Captain): "Well it means a lot for us, we cant express in words. Before we came here, we wanted to win the series and everyone is really really happy.

(On the Pacers) Very Impressive, the way they worked hard in the nets and behind the scenes, shows that they wanted to win for their team so I am very proud.

Yeah the way Shadman and Zakir batted was simply brilliant. They took responsibilities and lets hope they take it forward.

Yeah the next series is very important (vs INDIA) and as you said the experienced players, Mushi bhai, Shakib bhai have been just brilliant so I know they will work hard to do the same in the next series.

Yeah really happy with Mehidy with the way he bowled in this series. I am sure the entire unit will do well for us in our upcoming games. Well the credit goes to the entire team including the four players who were not part of our playing XI too. We will celebrate as a unit. The party is on the management (Laughs) as we have to travel back home."
Shan Masood (Pakistan Captain): "Extremely disappointed when you start the home season like this. The story has been the same as Australia. We have learned our lessons. We need to work on finishing games. In both games where we could have bowled them out especially in this game when we let them back in the game from 26/6. That's something which has happened in my tenure consistently in 4 matches.

Test cricket demands fitness. We played with 4 fast bowlers because the load on 3 will be a lot and that's what happened here. Agha and Abrar with 2 fast bowlers isn't enough. Test cricket demands you to be fit for 5 days whether you are a batter or a bowler.

When we lost the first day to bad weather. 274 was a really good fight. There were 30s and 40s and there were partnerships as well but we didn't convert in a big score as Litton Das. We needed one wicket back then but we couldn't. We need to learn as it is a big Test season for Pakistan.

You always keep trying and learn from your mistakes. We are heading in the right direction. We had Khurram, Mohammad Ali, Mir Hamza played this series. We have Shaheen and Naseem back as well. You can't just throw them in every game as they play 3 formats all around the year.

We have a month now before England and before that it will be a good season internationally and domestically for us."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Player of the Series): "First of all I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity and this is my first award outside my home, so I am really happy.

Well it is a tough job to bat at Number 8 but I enjoyed my batting with Litton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim as they are experienced players. Yeah it is a really brilliant achievement for me to pick five wicket haul and I want to do better.

Yeah I didnot play the T20 World Cup, I would like to give a lot of credit to my support staff for always backing me and I enjoyed practicing at home. Yeah my teammates have been very supportive to me and I really loved it.

(In Bengali) I would like to dedicate to my Bangladeshi Supporters that I have been have awarded as the Player of the Series. As we know back in Bangladesh, we have had a tough time as a rickshaw person has lost his life so I would like to dedicate this award to his family."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz is the player of the series.
Litton Das (Player of the Match): "Just believed in myself. Pakistan bowled really well in that half. Me and Miraz discussed to bat long. He hit few boundaries and shifted the momentum. After lunch it got easier.

When Hasan came, I didn't had any scoring opportunities so I took time and played as many overs I could. That was the key for me. Credit goes to Hasan as well.

I like keeping in a Test match because its my role. My team also did well. When we came here, back home the situation wasn't good. We practiced here and won. It is about team effort. Credit goes to all my teammates and the coaching staff."
Litton Das is the Player of the Match.
15:19 IST & 14:49 Local Time| Time for the Post Match Presentations.
Pakistan have failed to win a Home Test Match for 1303 Days!
Litton Das: "Yes its a big achievement for Bangladesh Cricket Team and I am happy to be a part of it. Well when Miraz and I was batting, credit goes to Miraz more to be honest. When he hit those boundaries, the momentum shifted towards us as after the Lunch Break we batted freely.

Yeah definitely, it was all about a team game. All the three departments have to click and every batters batted brilliantly except the first hour of our first hour of our first Innings."
Hasan Mahmud: "This is a fantastic effort from the boys. Their hard work, dedication throughout this tournament was absolutely fantastic. The fast bowlers looked for wickets and put the effort behind the ball.

You have to take advantage from fast bowlers and to keep working together hard especially in red ball cricket. Its important for the fast bowlers and spinners to combine their effort."
15:01 IST & 14:31 Local Time| A Historical and Memorable Test Series for Bangladesh against Pakistan as they have won the 2 Match Test Series (2-0). A win that all Bangladeshi Fans will remember it for ages. Sensational cricket as a whole played by the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side.

The rain played spoilsport on Day 1 of this Test Match as we were down to a Four Day Test Match. Pakistan were put into bat by Bangladesh. The Home side were bundled out for 274 inside 85.1 overs. Saim Ayub (58 off 110) was the top run scorer in the Innings for Pakistan. A five wicket-haul for Mehidy Hasan Miraz (5/61) was he was the pick of the bowlers in the 1st Innings.

Pakistan should have had a wicket first ball of the Bangladesh Innings but a regulation catch was put down at the slip cordon. In Day 3, we witnessed some breath-taking seam bowling in the first hour from Khurram Shahzad and Mir Hamza as Bangladesh were in all sorts of trouble at 26/6.

Then the record breaking 7th Wicket Partnership came into the picture as Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz added 165 runs together as it turned out to be the match winning partnership in this Test Match. Litton Das batted almost till the end with a fantastic knock of 138 off 228 balls which consisted of 13 Fours and 4 Sixes. Bangladesh were bowled out at the end for 262 as Pakistan had only a lead of 12 runs. The Captaincy from Shan Masood in the entire series has not been impressive to be honest.

The Home side walked out to bat and the top order faultered yet again for Pakistan. The 7th Wicket Partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Agha Salman added 55 runs as it was the highest partnership in the Innings. Agha Salman batted till the end along with the tail enders as he remained unbeaten on 47. Pakistan were bowled out for 172 in 46.4 overs after yet another poor performance with the bat. Hasan Mahmud with a fifer to his name as well as Nahid Rana had four wickets for himself. The Target for Bangladesh to chase was 185.

In the final session of Day 4, Zakir Hasan walked out to bat with all guns blazing with a quick fire knock before rain intervened and we could not have anymore play yesterday. Bangladesh were 42/0 and required more 143 runs to win.

In the final day of the Test Match, the top order contributed with runs as it was a comfortable run chase for Bangladesh. Pakistan struggled to pick wickets as three boundaries went through the slip cordons as well. A well deserved victory for the visitors who win the 2nd Test Match by 6 wickets.

4 FOURRRR!! That's the Winning runs for Bangladesh. The First ever Test Series Victory for Bangladesh against Pakistan. Bangladesh have done a 'Bangla Wash' says Athar Ali Khan on Air. Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim hug each other as they are thrilled after the winning runs came from the blade of Shakib.

Coming into the ball, flighted delivery wide outside off, Shakib reaches for it, slaps it flat and hard through the gap of cover and mid off for a boundary. The ball races to the fence as both the batters hug each other to celebrate. Bangladesh win by 6 wickets!
