Milestone
Well that's it from a historic day in Test cricket for Bangladesh! A massive win and one that they will remember for a long time.

This is Anirudh Modi, signing off along with my co-commentator Ninaad Dixit, and our scorer/analyst Dushyant Kumar! See you on the next one!
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Captain): "I want to dedicate this win to all the people of Bangladesh. Last night I spoke to my wife and she said if you win, it will be a very good day for us and thanks to Allah we did. It's massive for us, we never win here but before we start this series, we believed we can do something special and win this time. The way everyone has worked hard on and off the field has resulted in this victory for us.

Credit goes to all the bowlers, the pacers bowled very well with the new ball and both our spinners are very well experienced and everyone contributed to this win.

Playing after a long time is difficult for a opener but the way he batted and the first 12 overs both of them batted helped us to set a big score and bat deep the next day.

Mushi bhai, last 15-17 years, the way he does his job and preparation is a big reason that he is able to play with same intensity and bat under this hot conditions. I am giving credit to our full 15 member squad and it is all a result of our hard work."
Shan Masood (Pakistan Captain): "Never to make it an excuse but it didn't play the way we thought. We lost half of the first day. You think its going to be the faster bowlers doing the bulk of work. It rained for nine days and we didn't have any rain since the first day of Test. We need to work collectively.

With 3 fast bowlers you will push them to the limit which means that the spinner will have to operate which we wanted to avoid. At the end of the day we got it wrong and we will have to work away around it.

There's a reason for the declaration to push the game forward to have a crack at them in the 4th innings. Also there were some things in the field which we could have done better to get the lead or kept them at par.

Its a mix of things with the way that there was a 117-run lead so to get in a winning position it was a lot. The cracks opened up and their bowlers bowled really well. There have been mistakes and we have to do better whenever we play next.

You have to look at your whole XI. We lost Aamer Jamal, an allrounder. Spinner can always come in. When we needed a spinner in Sydney, Sajid Khan played there. Playing 4 seamers didn't work here but it doesn't mean it won't work again. You have to respect the conditions.

When we play domestic cricket here it is different. Its a huge lesson for us what to expect in our own conditions."
Mushfiqur Rahim (Player of the Match): "Thanks to allmighty Allah. To be honest this is one of my finest so far. We have not done well overseas and this is excellent, credit goes to everyone, players how they've prepared themselves, not only here but back home as well.

Before the Test series, there was a 2 and a half month gap, and we had a special camp back home, and that helped us prepare well and build our mentality under similar conditions. I never think that I am the most experienced, I just try to give my 100% and contribute to my team, I want to inspire them and that's the only reason I am here.

I want to donate this prize money to all the people who have been affected by floods back home and request everyone back home to contribute and help as much as they can."

Time for the post match presentation ceremony..
3:30 PM IST, 3:00 PM Local Time | Bangladesh create history to win their first ever Test match in Pakistan! They do so by chasing down a small target of 30 runs with all the wickets in hand! A commendable performance from the Tigers to down the hosts and create a moment they will remember for the rest of their lives.

It all started 5 days ago when Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first, and after an initial flurry of wickets, Saim Ayub stabilized Pakistan's first innings. Then came the marathon 240 run partnership for the 5th wicket between Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan. Saud Shakeel eventually got dismissed for 141 runs in 261 balls. While, Rizwan carried his bat to end up unbeaten on 171 runs off 239 balls, which eventually led to Pakistan declaring for 448/6 in the first innings.

Bangladesh's reply to that was even stronger. Led by Mushfiqur Rahim's mammoth 191 runs off 341 balls and valuable half-centuries from Shadman Islam (93 runs off 183 balls), Mominul (50 runs off 76 balls), Litton Das (56 runs from 78 balls) and Mehidy Hasan (77 runs from 179 balls), Bangladesh registered 565 all-out in their first innings to take a lead 117 run lead.

While nothing happened for the bowlers through the first 4 Days of the Test, the last session on Day 4 offered some movement for Bangladesh bowlers to eek out the wicket of Saim Ayub. Pakistan began the day on 23/1, and Bangladesh still had a lot of work to do if they were to win.

Hasan Mahmud opened the floodgates with the wicket of Shan Masood early on Day 5, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz followed it up with 4/21, and with Shakib's 3/44, they did the unthinkable and bundled Pakistan out for 146! From there on, a short target of 30 runs was chased down easily within 6.3 overs to win the contest!

4 FOUR RUNS!! 8th overseas victory for Bangladesh in Tests and their first against Pakistan! What a moment for the visiting side. A birthday gift for skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto. Its a fuller length delivery pitching outside the leg stump. Zakir is down on a knee and sweeps behind square. Times it well playing the stroke in the gap. It races away to the backward square boundary. A 10-wicket win for the visitors!
6.2 A Salman to S Islam
1 Short and wide outside off, cuts it in front of backward point dashing across for a quick single.
6.1 A Salman to S Islam
