That is the coverage of the tournament of Global t20 Canada. For now, this is me Hrutuja Deshmukh signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Aditya Agarwal and Gourav Samal, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur brought you all the live action of this fixture. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Chris Lynn (Captain, Montreal Tigers)- "We are very happy about this win. Of course, Dilpreet was amazing today even in the field, it was his day. I am happy with today's performance from the boys. We need to focus on some areas to improve with bowling aspects and fielding aspects for now we will have this win and enjoy!"
David Warner (Captain, Brampton Wolves) - "I think we did bowl pretty well apart from the onslaught from Dilpreet. He played a tremendous innings and I am just in awe of it. We need to work in some areas and I hope we will bounce back."
Dilpreet Bajwa (POTM)- "It was an amazing feeling as it was the first century of the tournament. During the break, the skipper came in and told me to accelerate the game, so I just followed his instructions. I was keeping an eye on the scoreboard. I thought 19th over is the over to take the charge and added some important runs."
Player of the Match - Dilpreet Bajwa
Time for the presentations.
Azmatullah Omarzai (Montreal Tigers) - "I would like to thank the Almighty God. Our team is doing really well in the tournament and I am happy to contribute towards it. I enjoyed every wicket I took."
04:59 IST and 07:29 PM Local Time | What an exhilarating match it was! The Montreal Tigers have truly showcased their prowess, with a stellar performance both in batting and bowling. Despite the pressure, they managed to put up a solid total of 167, which proved too much for the Brampton Wolves. The Montreal Tigers won by 42 runs.

The Wolves struggled, particularly with key players like David Warner failing to make an impact. Kobe Herft made 22 (30) and George Munsey 54(34)tried to anchor the chase, but the Tigers' bowlers were relentless. The Brampton Wolves were all out on 124 runs.

Azmatullah Omarzai was the standout, claiming four crucial wickets and stifling the opposition's scoring opportunities. Kaleem Sana and Zahoor Khan both took two wickets each. Sherfane Rutherford and Aayan Afzal Khan supported brilliantly with on wicket, ensuring the Wolves were always on the back foot. The precision and consistency in their bowling were key, as they kept the runs in check and never allowed the Wolves to form any significant partnerships.

In the end, it was a comprehensive victory for the Montreal Tigers, winning by 42 runs. They displayed great team spirit and strategy, fully deserving this victory. A big congratulations to them! This match certainly belonged to the Tigers, and they have shown why they are a formidable side.

That's it! Montreal Tigers win by 42 runs. Sherfane Rutherford gets the last wicket.
