That is the coverage of the tournament of Global t20 Canada. For now, this is me Hrutuja Deshmukh signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Aditya Agarwal and Gourav Samal, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma brought you all the live action of this fixture. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Chris Lynn (Captain Montreal Tigers )- "It was a good toss to lose for us. We didn't care about how the pitch is behaving, we just wanted to apply ourselves and perform at our best. Ben Manenti and Aayan Khan are both a great asset to have in your team. Good start to the campaign for us and hoping to repeat this performance further."
Shakib Al Hasan (Captain Bangla Tigers Mississauga)- "I think we needed to take some quick wickets in the first innings. They also had a good powerplay that helped them build the momentum. Although we pulled them back in the middle overs, they did well towards the end of the innings. 189 on this track is a very good score. Apart from all these, Rahmanullah Gurbaz really had a good knock today. We also needed to be consistent to be good with the fielding. I will say fielding was the key reason why we lost the game today."
Ashton Agar (Player of the match)- "It was tough work with the wicket today, a tough start for us. it was our plan to take the spinners, While bowling our target was to bowl into the wicket because the pitch was helping as well."
Player Of the Match - Ashton Agar
Aayan Khan (Montreal Tigers) - "I am happy with my performance and happy for the win as well. I love playing here and love the atmosphere here. My mom and dad has put in so much hard work into me and that has paid off for me I guess."
