A happy dressing room is a winning dressing room! Gautam Gambhir's first assignment as the Indian Head Coach begins with smiles. The next generation of the reigning World T20 Champions enjoys the moment, and the ODI leg of the tour starts on Friday (August 2). Don't forget to join us for the three-match ODI series. We also have plenty of other cricketing action coming up on our network. Stay with us for all the latest cricketing updates.

For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Akshay Bhide and scorer/analyst, Raju Khariya, who brought you all the live-action of this mouth-watering fixture. We will meet again. Until then, its cheers!
Suryakumar Yadav collects the Trophy for winning the T20I series 3-0 against Sri Lanka. This is his first assignment as a full-time Indian T20I skipper. He gets the job done! The entire Indian side, along with the support staff, stand behind the champions board and celebrate the series victory. Rinku Singh and Riyan Parag are the ones who will get their hands on the silverware as the Indian team pose for the photographs. Celebrations will go on!
Suryakumar Yadav (Player of the Series and India Captain): "I think more than the last over, I feel when we were 30/4 and 50-5, the boys showed great character and the way they batted was great. I feel 140 was a par score here. When we were going on the field, I told that I have seen such collapses and if we can put heart and mind into it for the next one and half hour, we can pull it off.

(On youngsters in the squad) You would have seen them bowl. But I think the amount of skills and the self-belief that they have makes my job easier. I still remember that after the first two games, I told that some of the guys will have a rest. Some boys came up and said that they can have the rest and the others can have a chance.

Really happy with the performance of everyone. The way these boys are stepping up with the bat takes pressure off me. I said at the start of the series is that I don't want to be the captain and I want to be the leader."
Player of the Series: Suryakumar Yadav
Game Changer of the Match: Suryakumar Yadav
Charith Asalanka (Sri Lanka Captain): "Definitely. I am really disappointed with our batting, especially with the middle and lower middle order. It was wrong shot selections from them.

It was the spinners bowling, and that is why Hasaranga came up the order, and we just gave him the license to hit one or two boundaries. It didn't come up for us.

Definitely, it was a gettable score. We need to do more as professional cricketers. Nothing much. The pressure took a toll on us. When the ball gets older, the shot making becomes difficult. Yes, there are no excuses for these collapses.

We need to execute with the bat better in the upcoming ODI series. The top order has scored runs. They have done well. That is the one positive for us."
Suryakumar Yadav signs the match ball and collects the winner's cheque and trophy.
Washington Sundar (Player of the Match): "All the work I have done till the end. All the blessings from the God has helped me. I tried to stay calm. Thanks to Surya to throw the ball to me to bowl the Super Over.

Very grateful to get an opportunity to play for my country. I just try to work hard every single day and the God will also be kind with me.

We did a bit of homework against their batters. There was some purchase from the surface. I just had to hit the right lengths often and the things worked in favor of me."
Player of the Match: Washington Sundar
Maximum Sixes of the Match: Riyan Parag (2 sixes)

Sri Lanka lost this game more than India won. In the post-match discussion, Russel Arnold calls for one minute of silence. Sad to watch a legend like Sanath Jayasuriya to put his head down seeing this type of batting performance from Sri Lanka.
