Milestone
That brings the curtains on our live coverage of this Bengal Pro 20 game! For now, it's Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of my co-commentators, Ayan Chatterjee, Aditya and Hrutuja alongside scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. See you soon!
Sudip Gharami (Murshidabad Kings Captain): "Delighted with the win. I think we have played well in all facets of the game. Yes, was disappointed to get out cheaply and not contribute to the team. Our bowlers bowled well and spinners controlled the game really well. I thought we have areas to improve on, but we are happy that we have reached the finals. Thank You. Hope to do well in a few days."
Winning Captain's Cap: Sudip Gharami.
Koushik Ghosh (POTM) - " I am happy for my innings today. There was no certain pressure on me, I just wanted to enjoy my batting. I got out on a bad ball and I feel I would have hit it for a boundary. When 2 wickets fell quickly, we wanted to consolidate the game and take the game to the end and it paid off."
Player of the Match: Koushik Ghosh.
Best Strike Rate of the Match: Aditya Purohit.
Most Flying Sixes of the Match: Toufik uddin.
All-Rounder of the Match: Agniv Pan.
Time for the presentations.
Sudip Chatterjee (Medinipur Wizards Captain): "We were a little bit short. We lost wickets in clusters and lacked the partnership and that's where we lost. We leaked in the powerplay. We came back well, but it was a bit too late in the end. Wicket was slow and sometimes the turn was there. Bowlers also bowled well. This is a platform for us to do well. Thank the CAB for this tournament and showcasing the talent that Bengal has with them. Yes, thank you very much."
22:54 IST and Local Time | PHEW! What a match we just had. Murshidabad Kings win the second semi-finals by 5  wickets and 7 balls to spare and advances to the grand finale.

Put into bat by Murshidabad Kings, Medinipur Wizards got off to a good steady start in the powerplay as their openers put up a 39 run stand. Wriddhiman Saha looked cautious from the start and struggled throughout his innings of 32 off 30 balls. Gaurav Srivastav then steadied the ship for the Wizards and scored 44 runs but a tight bowling by the Kings's bowlers meant that Medinipur could only manage with a score of 144 /6 after the completion of first innings.
Sukhmeet Singh was the pick of the bowlers for Kings as he picked up 2 wickets, he was equally supported by the spinners from other end.

Chasing 145, Koushik Ghosh and Aditya Purohit smashed Medinipur bowler's to all parts of the ground in the powerplay as they amassed 58 runs with any loss of wickets. 3 quick wickets in the middle overs by the Wizards spinners put brakes in the chase.
Vaibhav Yadav starred with ball for Medinipur Wizards as he bagged 3 wickets in his quota of 4 overs and brought them back into the game. But some late hitting by Agniv Pan and Toufik Mondal helped Murshidabad Kings get over the line with 7 balls to spare.
18.5 Chauhan to Mondal
6 SIX! That's it! That's the end of the game. Tosses it up with a bit of air, Mondal takes it on and lofts it away straight down the ground over the bowler's head as the ball sails over the fence for the maximum to end the contest. The Kings win by 5 wickets with 7 balls to spare and advances to the final.
18.4 Chauhan to A Pan
1 Good length on the pads, Pan works it away for a single.
18.3 Chauhan to A Pan
4 FOUR! Fuller length tossed up wide outside off, Pan looks to inside out over covers as the ball races away to the fence for a boundary.
18.2 Chauhan to A Pan
0 Flatter delivery outside off, Pan flat bats it to covers.
18.1 Chauhan to A Pan
4 FOUR! Fuller length angling in around off, Pan moves across and sweeps it away to the deep square leg region as the ball races away to the fence.
15 required now off 12 balls.
