That’s all from our today’s coverage of Match 6 of the Maharashtra Premier League 2024 between the Ratnagiri Jets up and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings from the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Gourav Samal here is signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and Pritam Dey alongside scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Thank you for joining us. Stay tuned for all cricketing updates around the world. Good Bye.
Azim Kazi (RJ Captain) : "I’m just keeping it simple and enjoying each and every moment in the match. At first, our bowlers bowled well due to which they fell short by 15-20 runs in the first innings. And Dhiraj Phatangare gave us a good start with the bat, which helped us to chase the target easily. According to me Divyang Hinganekar was exceptional with the ball. Our plan was very simple. And the wicket was so good that we didn’t need to try anything different."
Dhiraj Phatangare (Man of the Match) : "“Definitely when the target was of 190, getting into a good start was important. As an opener I wanted to keep scoring from one end and I did the same today. I am happy if the team is winning than my own stats. Our captain has always backed us to keep things simple and play to our strength."
Player of the MatchDhiraj Phatangare
Murtaza Trunkwala (CSK Captain): "Yes, I think the way we started and bowled was good. We bowled well but they took the game away. I think the batting was great and total was good and bowling was a bit awry.

That was the catch of the tournament and that shifted the momentum for us. Not much really. They played better than us in all three departments, They played partnerships were there. We played well but they played better than us.

Yes, you can say 10-15 runs short, but from the start, I was happy with the score. Little things we have to do well and we can come back in the next few games."
