That is the end of our coverage of this MLC game. That is also the end of Morrisville-leg of the tournament. The focus is completely shifted to Dallas for the remainder of the season. For now, this is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer, who brought you all the live-action of this mouth-watering fixture. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
Sunil Narine (Los Angeles Knight Riders Captain): "Yeah, definitely a much-needed win. I think we started good in powerplay and try to squeeze them as much as we can. It was a total team effort with the ball. As a batting unit, we could have done better. But we are at that stage of the tournament where we have to win. I don't think net run-rate will come into play if we win games.
Yeah, he (Unmukt Chand) has been batting well. Didn't get the runs in the last few games but he performed well today. When you have local guys doing well it gets the senior guys going.
Yeah, we go to Dallas now. We need to play our best cricket on the day and try and get to the knockout stage."
Heinrich Klaasen (Seattle Orcas Captain): "I thought we batted well. Especially, Ryan Rickelton batted superbly. I think we left 15-20 runs out there in the backend, which was crucial.
The pitch played better than the last game, and it was nice and slow. The fielding was good but the loss comes from the batting. It is hard to put the fingers on, but I think there we went wrong.
Reset, refresh and get back. We have to find a way to win the small margins in a game. We are not completely out of it. Hopefully, we win the remaining two matches and hope for the rest of the results go our way."
Heavy wind is blowing across the ground that is shaking the sponsors board which was about to fall on Rickelton.
Ryan Rickelton (Player of the match): "Yeah, it wasn't the easiest of wicket to get going. It started nicely with the hard ball but got difficult to bat on. We thought 140-150 was a good score but 150-160 would have been enough. Tougher length with change of pace was difficult to get away.
Obviously my wicket was disappointing. I feel I could have hit a few more. Disappointing I believe if I could maintain my shape, would have get a few more and it would have made the difference in the end."
Most Valuable Player of the Day:Ryan Rickelton
Sunil Narine wins the Play of the Day award for a direct hit to run out Quinton de Kock.
Ryan Rickelton wins the Power Hitter of the Match award for his 97m long hit in the 3rd over.
4:06 AM IST and 6:36 PM Local Time: We are all set for the post-match presentations...
Unmukt Chand: "Well, I think it was a very important win for us to stay alive in the tournament. Thankfully, we did that.
Well bowled well and restricted them to a gettable total of 142. We had regular partnerships and It was a game in which everyone chipped in with the bat, which helped us to get over the line in the end.
Since I kept wickets for the whole 20 overs, I had a knowledge of the conditions. It got better, and it was important to keep the accelerator on.
We played as a team in all the matches, but the results didn't go our way. From now on, every game is a final for usand we have to win. Hopefully, we keep our momentum going into Dallas as well."
3:57 AM IST & 6:27 PM Local Time: LA Knight Riders get their second win of this season, beat Seattle Orcas by 4 wickets and 5 balls to spare. Unmukt Chand was the hero with the bat for his knock of 62. With this win, LA Knight Riders stay alive in the tournament.
Earlier in the match, Seattle Orcas won the toss and opted to bat first, a decision that backfired as they lost two wickets within the first four overs.
Quinton de Kock and Shehan Jayasuriya fell cheaply, leaving skipper Heinrich Klaasen to partner with Ryan Rickelton.
The duo added 64 runs for the third wicket. Rickelton scored a half-century, finishing with 89 off 52 balls, while Klaasen was dismissed for 23.
Unfortunately, none of the other batters managed to reach double figures, and the Orcas ended up with a respectable total of 142/6 from 20 overs.
In reply, the LA Knight Riders lost their skipper early again, with Sunil Narine being cleaned up by Lungi Ngidi.
Unmukt Chand and Jason Roy kept the momentum going, scoring 58 runs off 45 balls before Roy fell.
Chand continued to anchor the innings, reaching his half-century, but wickets kept tumbling from the other end, increasing the pressure on him.
He perished for a well-deserved 62. Andre Russel hit a big maximum before holing out in the deep, trying to finish the game with a six.
LA Knight Riders eventually got over the line with five balls to spare. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.
19.1 L Ngidi to S Badar

The scores are level. LA Knight Riders just a hit away from the victory. Lungi Ngidi to bowl the last over of the match.
