That's it from the coverage of this El Classico clash between Texas Super Kings and MI New York. The Super Kings coming out on top tonight. Stick around to our network for all other cricketing actions from across the world in our network and across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Faf du Plessis (Texas Super Kings Captain): "I think it was a good pitch. It was good early on and slowed down in the end. They bowled middle overs well with Rashid bowled really well and we got to a competitive score. Marcus is an all rounder for us. Crucial runs and then taking wickets has been great for us. Zia has been good with the new ball and Mohsin is doing his bit as well. Great electricity out here with the crowd support and we really appreciate their support that they give to us. Can't thank them enough."
Kieron Pollard (MI New York Captain): "I thought the bowlers did well, especially in the latter half of the innings. We had already lost three wickets in the Powerplay, so we needed to avoid taking unnecessary risks. Unfortunately, I got out, which can happen when things aren't going well. However, Monank and Rashid performed well towards the end. It's pleasing to see our lower order performing effectively in two consecutive games. Not many games left, but we'll see how it plays out."
Rashid Khan (Player of the Match): "Well, firstly not great to be on the winning side. It was about scoring out there and do well. Go out there and score clearly out there. Self belief is important and team management wants me to bat up the order. I get the responsibility feeling of doing well. Do the basics right and have a strong base in the end. Definitely, that helps facing them. The way they bowled was good. Went there with a positive mindset and tried to finish things off in the end. Tried my best in the end."

Time for the post-match presentation....
Marcus Stoinis: "I'm glad to be involved. There are definitely things I could have done better personally, but overall, we managed to secure the win, and it was a good game.

I have an idea of how many balls I might face in the innings, so I can plan accordingly based on who is coming in. It's a bit flexible depending on the situation. Sometimes you get off to a flyer as well and things just go to plan.

Yeah, bowling with the new ball is a big advantage, especially with its movement. Bowling at the death is a different challenge—they batted really well. But overall, I enjoy the role and I'm happy to do whatever the team needs.

That's a significant win for us, especially at this point in the season. We've had a busy schedule with a quick turnaround from our last game, so winning this one and then having four days off to recuperate feels really good."
9:43 AM IST, 11:13 PM Local Time: We have had a terrific game of cricket in Dallas Texas in this El Classico. In the end, it was the Texas Super Kings who hold their nerves to win the game by 15 runs and collect important two points. MI New York had their moments but were beaten by the better side today.

Chasing 177 for the win, MI New York lost early wickets. Ruben Clinton went early. Steven Taylor scored 18 off 13 balls. Nicholas Pooran missed out while Kieron Pollard the captain and Tim David chewed up a lot of balls for low scores. Monank Patel scored 61 off 45 balls and held the innings together while Rashid Khan was brilliant with his 50 off 23 balls and almost took the game away from TSK. 8 extras given by the fielding side as MI New York finished with 161/7 in 20 overs.

Marcus Stoinis was taken to the cleaners but picked up 4 wickets for 50 runs in 4 overs. Zia-ul-Haq was great in his spell of 2/15 in 4 overs. Mohsin bowled well for his 1/18 in 4 overs. They did enough to win the game.

Earlier in the game, Texas Super Kings were asked to bat first. They got off to a flier courtesy of their captain Faf du Plessis and Devon Conway. Faf was brilliant with his 61 off 38 balls. Conway scored 40 off 28 balls. Aaron Hardie scored 22 off 17 balls while Marcus Stoinis remained unbeaten on 24* off 18 balls. Calvin Savage scored 10 off 6 balls in the end as the innings lost momentum towards the end. They were restricted to 176/6 in 20 overs with 7 extras given by the fielding side.

Trent Boult picked up a couple of wickets for 48 runs in 4 overs and bowled well in the end overs. Rashid Khan bowled well for his figures of 1/17 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Nosthush Kenjige, and Ehsan Adil. Adil who also bowled well today.

So, a win for Texas Super Kings by 15 runs over MI New York as they climb upto second in the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.
