Milestone
That's it from our coverage of this match between San Francisco Unicorns and Texas Super Kings. Faf du Plessis finally gets his first win of this season and his team, who were bottom placed before the start of this match, jump up to the top of the table.

This is Ajay Pal Singh signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash, Hiren Kumar, and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Until next time, cheers.
Faf du Plessis (Texas Super Kings Captain): "We needed this win. In the previous game, we were good with the bat. Unfortunately, it was washed out. We were clinical with the bat. We have a few more batting options. It was nice to mix up the different bowlers.

I think mentally it is important to switch off and switch on. Strike rate is something I look to work on. If I look back, I think 120-130 is a good strike rate but the times have changed and the game has evolved.

Yeah, the tournament is set up nicely for the local players. All the teams have superstars. There are 6 overseas options which is good. I think it is very well structured and it will benefit the American cricket. Mohsin was excellent and he has become my great weapon. He has a lot as a bowler and is a big part of our team."
Corey Anderson (San Francisco Unicorns Captain): "Look we lost two early wickets. Lost wickets in clumps. Fairplay to Texas. Some days will not go your way and it was just one of those days.

From my side, poor executions. But it can happen, you flip that around another day. I want to give the guys as much freedom as I can.

I don't think we need to change a lot. Couple of days ago we blasted LA out of the park. One game doesn't go your way and hopefully we have got that game out of the way.

It is good to work with him (Shane Watson). This is the second time around with him, he is bringing a certain calm into the dressing room and at the same time giving the guys the freedom to express themselves."
Mohammad Mohsin (Most valuable player of the match): "It was a great effort from the fast bowlers to set it up for us. We just kept it simple and i was looking to bowl stump to stump. It is nice to contribute to the team's win. It will give me confidence going forward. Yes, the presence of all these international stars helps us and we get to learn a lot.
Most valuable player of the match: Mohammad Mohsin
Play of the day: Mohammad Mohsin
Power hitter of the match: Mitchell Santner
Time for post-match presentation.
Aaron Hardie (Texas Super Kings): "I think the surface was a good one. Had something for both batters and bowlers. I think we were a bit sloppy in the powerplay with the ball but we did well post that. It is a bit hot but we know the conditions as we played here last year as well. We got Faf and Conway at top and they batted brilliantly today."
3:30 AM IST & 6 PM Local Time: Texas Super Kings thrash San Francisco Unicorns by 7 wickets to get their first win in this year's Major League Cricket. Bowlers set it up for them and then batters finished the job without breaking a sweat.

Earlier in the game, Texas Super Kings won the toss and opted to bowl. Zia-ul-Haq picked up two early wickets to push the Unicorns on the back foot.

Matthew Short was looking dangerous before Naveen-Ul-Haq dismissed him for 33. Hassan Khan (19) and Sanjay Krishnamurthy (17) were the only other batters who made notable contributions.

Mohammad Mohsin was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 4/13 from 3.5 overs. Dwayne Bravo and Zia-ul-Haq picked up two wickets each while Naveen and Mitchell Santner got one each. San Francisco were bowled out for 127.

In reply, Faf Du Plessis and Devon Conway added 61 runs for the first wicket before the former lost his wicket on the last ball of the 5th over.

Conway walked off after being hit on the hand by a sharp bouncer from Haris Rauf. Aaron Hardie made 34 off 23 and Santner came in to deliver the finishing touches to the run chase and got his team over the line with 7.1 overs to spare.
12.5 H Rauf to M Santner
1 Santner finishes it in style. Fuller and just outside off, Santner drives it up and over cover point and takes a single to get the win. TSK register their first win of the season and it is a big one with over 7 overs to spare.
The scores are level now.
12.4 H Rauf to M Kumar
1 Back of a length ball, on off, pulled down to deep square leg for a single.
12.3 H Rauf to M Santner
1 Length ball, on middle and leg, Santner tucks it square of the wicket for a single.
12.2 H Rauf to M Kumar
1 Fuller than a length, into the stumps, clipped to mid on for a single.
12.1 H Rauf to M Kumar
0 Length ball, on off, Kumar leans across and blocks it to covers for a dot.
2 wickets and 9 runs off the 12th over. TSK now need just 4 runs from 48 balls. The fourth umpire is out with a box of balls because Santner's six on the last ball of the previous over went out of the ground.
