That's all from the 3rd and Final T20I encounter between West Indies and South Africa.

For now, this is
Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Saptak Sanyal who, along with scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Brandon King is receiving the winning trophy! He has joined his teammates for the celebration. It is a special moment for him as this is his first series as the captain of West Indies. Entire team is posing for a photograph with the trophy now.
Brandon King (West Indies Captain): "I'm happy with my performance, though I wish I could've carried my bat to the end. We've been playing together for a few years now and understand each other's games well.

This 3-0 win is crucial, especially as the last series before the World Cup. It's great preparation and gives us good momentum. Our bowling was very consistent, with impressive contributions from Motie and others."
Rassie van der Dussen(South Africa Captain)- "It is thoroughly disappointing. I think we need to adapt more to the Caribbean conditions. Ya, not happy with the results.

You have to talk and deliver in the middle. Players are coming and getting added to the squad. You can't keep learning always, sometimes you need to deliver. There's no room for excuse. They were just better than us in both batting and bowling.

I think the majority of our squad are playing together for the last three-four years and it will be good when they come back. Nqaba Peter did well in this series too."
Gudakesh Motie (Player of the Series): "I'm very pleased. I've been working really hard on various things, especially my variations, and I'm happy with my performance. Most surfaces in the World Cup will be the same."
Player of the Series: Gudakesh Motie
Johnson Charles(Player of the Match)- "It was great to bat. We worked hard in the camp. We worked hard on our skills. It was all about implementing and we did it today. Hopefully we will continue that in world cup.

I just worked on my basics. Then again it was about implementing. Hopefully it will be replicated. I failed to score in the two games but felt good.

It is good to win a series with a lot of regular members not present. I hope when they arrives in the squad, we will do better as a team."

Time for the post match presentations.
03:17 IST and 16:47 Local Time | West Indies have won by 8 wickets in the 3rd T20I encounter and have done a clean sweep over the Proteas in this T20I Series.

South Africa having won the toss, elected to bat first in this surface. They didnot start off well with the bat as the intent of playing attacking cricket was missing inside the powerplay.

South Africa were down to 50/4 inside 8.1 overs and were once again in a spot of bother. Brandon King marshalled his troops really well as the Windies bowled 12 overs of spin in their Innings. Rassie van der Dussen once again was the man to the rescue for South Africa as his knock of 51 runs along with Waain Mulder (36 off 28) helped South Africa reach up to a competitive total of 163/7 in their 20 overs.

Obed McCoy (3/39) was the pick of the bowlers for the home side while Shamar Joseph & Gudakesh Motie picked up two wickets each. West Indies required 164 to chase in their 20 overs.

In reply, West Indies got off to a flying start with the bat. The openers were taking down each and every bowler inside the powerplay as they got 83 runs inside 6 overs. The youngster, Nqaba Peter had to get the breakthrough as this partnership was looking really dangerous to take the game away from the Proteas. The 92-run opening partnership was broken by Nqaba Peter as Johnson Charles quick fire 69 off 26 balls came to an end.

Post the powerplay, West Indies required less than a run a ball to achieve the target with 9 wickets in hand. It was a cakewalk chase from there on as they chased down the total with 37 balls to spare.

West Indies win the T20I Series 3-0 against South Africa. Stick around for the post-match presentation...
