Earlier in the match, Worcestershire Rapids won the toss and opted to bat first in a 17-over-per-side match.
They lost Ed Pollock on the second ball of the match. Kashif Ali scored 46 off 30 and Josh Cobb hit 24 off 16.
Ethan Brookes (33) and Nathan Smith (30) also chipped in with handy contributions. Matthew Waite unleashed his fury at George Garton as he smashed 34 runs in the last over to take Worcestershire to 187/6 from their 17 overs.
Danny Briggs and Moeen Ali picked up two wickets apiece while Zakary Foulkes and Dan Mousley got one wicket each.
In reply, the Bears lost their skipper on the first ball. The other opener Robert Yates too fell for a duck.
However, a half-century from Dan Mousley kept the Bears in the hunt. He found support from Moeen Ali and Chris Benjamin, who made 16 and 21 respectively. Mousley had too much to do in the last four overs.
Matthew Waite was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 4/29. Tom Taylor picked up 3/31.

W That's the victory for the Worcestershire Rapids!!! Waite bowls a good length delivery at the off stump. Lintott moves across the stumps to play a scoop shot but gets hit on his front pad. TV umpire gives the signal as out and Warwickshire have lost the game by a gargantuan 55 runs.

W A yorker to a tee and Garton perishes!!!!! Waite bowls a perfect yorker at the off stump. Garton tries to guide it through the third man but gets beaten by the pace. The ball crashes on to his off stump. Waite took 34 from Garton's last over and takes his wicket now.

W Exceptional football skill from Tom Taylor and Dan Mousley becomes the victim! Fullish length delivery outside off. Garton tries to drive it through the off side and gets an inside edge back on to his pads. Mousley decides to go to the other end as the ball rolls towards the point. Taylor runs to the ball and deflects it to the stumps by kicking it with his right foot. Mousley was short of his crease and that's out.
