1:41 AM IST, 9:11 PM Local Time | Hampshire Haws register a comprehensive victory over Gloucestershire! They defeat their opponents by 5 wickets to take home the W and the points today!

Hampshire won the toss and elected to field first, and on the back of some excellent bowling, they managed to bundle out Gloucestershire for 124 in under 19 overs! John Turner was the pick of the bowlers for his figures of 3/24 from 3.2 overs.

Come the chase, Hampshire were confident but that took a big dent when David Payne unleashed his wrath on the Hampshire top 3 to leave them reeling at 31/3 after 4.3 overs. However, Hampshire succeeded where Gloucestershire failed and that was in building partnerships.

First it was the 32 run-stand between Albert and Weatherley which provided some stability to Hampshire's innings and then Fuller joined forces with Albert for a 61 run-stand to take Hampshire towards the brink of victory before Howell finished things off with a first ball boundary!

Toby Albert was the top scorer for Hampshire with an unbeaten 41 runs off 32 balls. While, David Payne picked up 3/17 from his 4 overs but was not enough to take his team towards victory.

In the end, Hampshire outplayed their opponents in all 3 departments of the game to win this encounter!
