India Women were ahead on the DLS calculations and have been declared as the winner! It means that they will take a 2-0 lead in the series with this victory as they have clinched both T20I's played so far.
India Women got off to a really poor start as Shafali Verma was strangled down the leg side. Dayalan Hemalatha was given a promotion at number on her comeback and she was outstanding with the bat. She made full use of the powerplay as she struck a few sixes and fours and also ensured that India went ahead of the DLS par score at the time the rains intervened once again.
For Bangladesh Women, Marufa Akter was the pick of the bowlers as she took the solitary wicket and gave away only 11 runs from the 14 balls that she bowled.
