That's it from the coverage of this CPL game between Guyana Amazon Warriors up against St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots with the home team coming out on top. Stay with us for more cricketing actions across the globe and across formats in our network.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay well, safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Imran Tahir (Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain): "I think we adjusted well to the conditions. This year it was different. Last year, the wicket was good, Hetmyer played well and Shepherd as well. It was a good total and I thought we could defend this and we did it today. Happy with the crowd support that we had.

I was a little rusty. I was expensive amongst the spinners. Need to adjust and bowl better and see how it goes. It was a great team effort and we are glad we got across the line.

I think fight, unity, character and we enjoy each other's success. Everyone will stand up and will do well. We come back tomorrow and hope to do well. I think 150 is a good score.

Shamar has got pace and he showed it with 145+ and entrusted him. He delivered and is passionate out there. He wants to do well. I am happy for him and with the team."
Andre Fletcher (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain): "Well, it was all about personal performance. We had mentioned to look at our personal performances. It was all about to play with pride. We again dropped catches. A score that should have been 110-115 went up to 135 (137). It was always going to be difficult.

Yeah, the thing is we have to believe in our ability. Wicket was assisting him (Ashmead Nedd). He did just that. Even Shamsi bowled well. I can't ask for more from the bowlers. We let down the team in the field and with the bat.

We lost wickets at crucial intervals. We knew they'll use their off-spinners. But it didn't work out. If we have the chance to do it again, we will.

No, it was not intimidating. It is a game we love to play, we get paid to play. I thrive to do well when the crowd is against you. Unfortunately, we are out of the tournament now."
Shimron Hetmyer (Player of the Match): "Brave, I guess (on his knock). The only thing going through my mind was to stay positive. I think I am just trying to enjoy my cricket a lot more now. The team tells me to keep doing what I am doing, the smile is coming out a bit more now.

Words cannot explain how good it feels to play in front of the home crowd.

It was only a matter of time before he (Shamar Joseph) started picking wickets. He is an exciting talent. Sky is the limit for him.

I think it was just us being brave. In the batting, in the bowling. We just wanted to forget about past results and get the job done."
Player of the Match: Shimron Hetmyer
8:11 AM IST, 10:41 PM Local Time: A disappointing performance from St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots as they lost their last 6 wickets in no time to get bundled out for 107 in 18.3 overs. An impressive bowling display by the Guyana Amazon Warriors sees them win this game by 30 runs and climb upto second in the points table. The batting might have been patchy from the Warriors but the bowling and fielding were superb tonight from Guyana.

Chasing 138 for the win, Patriots got off to a steady start with Andre Fletcher scoring 15 off 13 balls before being dismissed. Evin Lewis held one end up and scored 49 off 46 balls but lacked support from the other end. The innings never really got going apart from Lewis. Rilee Rossouw scored 11 before he was brilliantly run out. The Patriots were 91/4 at one stage and then suddenly bowled out for 107 in 18.3 overs. 3 extras given by the fielding side.

Shamar Joseph was the pick of the bowlers for the Guyana Amazon Warriors with figures of 3/9 in 2.3 overs. Moeen Ali bowled really well for his miserly spell of 2/9 in 4 overs. Imran Tahir picked up 2 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Gudakesh Motie, and Dwaine Pretorius. There was also a brilliant run out by Shamar Joseph as Guyana played out of their skins to win this game despite not being at their best with the bat.

Earlier in the game, Guyana Amazon Warriors were put into bat first by St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots. The top 3 went for single digit scores. But one man stood tall amidst the ruins and that was Shimron Hetmyer who scored a brilliant 63 off 33 balls. Moeen Ali scored 10 off 22 balls and Dwaine Pretorius scored 12 off 19 balls. But it was Romario Shepherd's 34* off 22 balls that took the score to 137/8 in 20 overs. 24 runs out of it came in the final over of the innings. 7 extras given by the fielding side.

Ashmead Romano Nedd was the pick of the bowlers for the Patriots with figures of 4/25 in 4 overs. Tabraiz Shamsi supported him well with figures of 2/13 in 4 overs. Kyle Mayers bowled well for his 1/22 in 4 overs and a wicket for Ryan John as well. Anrich Nortje bowled well for his 0/20 in 4 overs. The bowling was good, but the fielding and catching let the Patriots down and so did the batting performance later on.

So, Guyana Amazon Warriors win this game by 30 runs and climbs to second in the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.

W WICKET!!!!!!!!! Shamar Joseph has won it for the Warriors. John sends it upstairs. Fuller length around middle and leg. Nothing on Ultra Edge and three reds on Ball Tracking. That's the 8th defeat in a row for the Patriots.
