Milestone
Time to conclude our coverage from the exciting CPL encounter between Antigua & Barbuda Falcons and St Lucia Kings. I am Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my colleagues Ajay Pal Singh and Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Good bye. Keep following us for coverage of more cricket matches across the globe.
Faf du Plessis (St Lucia Kings Captain): "Yeah, really clinical performance. The wicket surprised me. It was slower but nice and clinical from us. For me it is really important when you get slow totals, you go hard in the powerplay.

Because you don't score in powerplay and then quality spinners can choke you. We just kind of take the game in a situation where we can't lose and then go for it and send guys like Tim.

I have played with him (Noor Ahmad) a couple of times, I think he is world class. Very happy not to bat against him. The style of Caribbean, you have to stay out of the hitting arc. He is quite fast. Obviously then Tim coming in and performing, it is nice to get the guys coming in and performing."
Chris Green(Antigua & Barbuda Falcons Captain): "Look, I think it's a similar story for us. We failed to sore in the middle overs. We are lacking good partnership and hence we are not able to post around 170-180, which is an average winning score. We were 20 runs short today.

We are trying hard to get a home win here. CPL cricket is a great tournament and it will be good if we can finish the Antigua-leg on a winning note on Thursday. I am playing it for three years and I think we need to regroup. We have six games left."
Noor Ahmad (Player of the Match): "It has been a pleasure playing in CPL, always try to deliver my best and do well for my team.

This time I had a good partnership with bowlers and that helped. The environment is good, everyone is enjoying each other's company. Everyone is trying to give their best for the team."

07:50 IST and 22:50 Local Time | Tim Seifert took 24 off the 17th over bowled by Mohammed Amir and helped his side to get the victory by 7 wickets and with 3 overs remaining. St Lucia Kings have started the campaign with back to back victories.

Coming to bat first, Antigua & Barbuda Falcons never got the going. Initially Fakhar Zaman added 21 runs from 17 balls with 2 fours and a maximum but after he perished, Kofi James turned out to be a failure. Justin Greaves, the other opener put up a brief fightback and he ended up as the top scorer scoring 36 runs off 26 balls with 5 fours. But the St Lucia Kings' spinners dominated in the middle overs to make things difficult for the batters. Jewel Andrew(15), Sam Billings(14) and Chris Green(13) got out cheaply while Fabian Allen got out for a golden duck. Imad Wasim batted well for his 23-ball 29 with 4 boundaries to help his team go past 140-run mark.

For the SLK side, Noor Ahmad was the star of the show taking 3 wickets for 18 runs. David Wiese, Alzarri Joseph, Roston Chase and Khary Pierre took one wicket each.

Chasing the run, St Lucia Kings found themselves in a comfortable position as skipper Faf du Plessis took on the Antigua pacers to score a quickfire 28. Imad Wasim took his wicket and slowed the run rate of SLK. Bhanuka Rajapaksa failed to score today as he got oy for 9.

Johnson Charles held the one end firmly. He respected the good balls and hit on the loose deliveries to help his team to crawl upwards in the run chase. He and the youngster, Ackeem Auguste registered a 44-run partnership before the latter got out for 27 off 20 balls with a couple of maximums.

Tim Seifert joined the crease after his dismissal and he assassinated Mohammed Amir in the 17th over to take his team to the victory. He added 2 fours and an equal number of maximum to finish the game with 3 overs remaining.  Johnson Charles remained unbeaten on 47 off 46 balls with 1 four and 3 maximums. Tim Seifert scored 26 runs off 11 balls with 1 four and 3 maximums too.

For the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Imad Wasim, Chris Green and Fabian Allen took one wicket each but the resource was so minimal that their combined effort was not enough to defend the target.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations.

16.6 M Amir to T Seifert
6 SIXX!! That's it Seifert has finished the game with 3 overs to spare. Falcons have succumbed to another loss. Short ball outside off. Seifert was waiting for it on the back foot and pulls it way deep into the stands for half-a-dozen runs. Punches the air in delight after getting the job done for his side. St Lucia Kings continue their winning run with another big victory.
16.5 M Amir to J Charles
1 Full and outside off. Charles shuffles across and scoops it over short fine. Doesn't get the timing right and only a single.
16.4 M Amir to T Seifert
1 Around the wicket. Full and at the stumps. Seifert flicks it to deep mid wicket for a single.
Tim Seifert is in a hurry now!!!! SLK need just 7 from 21 now.
16.3 M Amir to T Seifert
4 FOUR!!! Seifert is in a hurry to finish this. Short ball outside off. Seifert backs away and flat bats it over cover for a boundary.
16.2 M Amir to T Seifert
6 SIX MORE!!!!! That is outrageous hitting from Seifert. Short ball outside off. Seifert shuffles across and goes for the scoop, gets his head out of the way and goes through with the shot. Gets it off the middle of the bat and it goes all the way.
16.1 M Amir to T Seifert
6 SIXXXX!!!! Muscled away for a maximum. Over the wicket. Length ball, off-cutter. Seifert picks it early and goes deep in his crease and pulls it over deep mid wicket for a maximum.
