So that marks the end of our coverage from the first qualifier of this year's TNPL. Lyca Kovai Kings have advanced to the summit clash. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Good night.
Shahrukh Khan (Lyca Kovai Kings Captain): "To be honest, nothing. Sai had to set it up and Mukilesh played well and gave him support. Phenomenal innings from Sai today. There wasn't anything as such. I personally felt and believed in the process. We stopped the singles and as a bowling unit we bowled decently. The way they bowled was good. I have nothing to say on Sai. Unbelievable innings. Wicket was tough and the bowling was tough. To score a 100 on this track against them and the way he finished was great to see. Happy to see him do well. He was due for runs and came good today. Happy for the result and everyone loves playing this brand of cricket. Happy to be in the finals and now rest and look forward to the big one on Sunday."
Sai Sudharsan(Player of the Match): "I am definitely happy to contribute for the team's victory. The game was competitive and difficulty was there but we decided to stick to our basic plans. We tried to score as per the required rate.

In the last five-six overs, you need to maximize and I had that plan. The outfield is fantastic and I want to thank the crowd for the lovely support. Mukilesh's innings was crucial."

Time for the post-match presentation
R Sai Kishore (iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans Captain): "Yes, 200 was a very good score. Everyone batted well to get us to that score. Sai batted well and Mukilesh as well and they deserve the win in the end. Lots to learn for us. Yes, the fielding let us down and that happens and that is an area to work on. Yes, the fielding and bowling was a concern but I feel credit should be given to them for the win. Yes, batting was a positive for us with good game plan. Definitely, a lot to learn for us going into Qualifier 2 in Chennai."
22:44 IST and Local Time | A nonchalant brilliance from B Sai Sudharsan has helped the Lyca Kovai Kings to advance to the final of this edition's TNPL. They have chased down 201 runs with 7 balls remaining.

Coming to bat first after winning the toss, iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans were off to a flying start, thanks to their in-form openers Tushar Raheja and Amith Sathvik. The duo played fantastically and went hard at the bowlers. They registered a century partnership between them and the partnership was of 105 runs. Tushar Raheja got run out for a well made 55 but Sathvik continued to take on the spinner. The latter hit 7 sixes and a boundary to score 67 runs off 42 balls.

B Anirudh Sita Ram scored 21 runs from 19 balls but  the star in the slog overs was S Mohamed Ali. He scored 45 runs off 23 balls hitting 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. His innings was instrumental for ITT to post 200 run on the board.

For the Lyca Kovai Kings, skipper Shahrukh Khan and Jhathavedh Subramanyan took one wicket each.

In pursuit of the 201-run target, Lyca Kovai Kings lost their opener GV Vignesh for a golden duck in the first ball of the innings but Sai Sudharsan got off the mark with a boundary very next ball. Sai Sudharsan had a brief partnership with S Sujay before the latter got out for 19 runs facing 18 balls. Wicketkeeper J Suresh Kumar also got out for 5 and after losing three wickets, LKK started to give the fightback.

The pair of Sai Sudharsan and U Mukilesh complemented beautifully and they continued to pile up runs in a jiffy with a flurry of boundaries. They took on the spinners and then they went after the pacers to take the equation down to 55 from the final 4 overs. Sai Kishore came to bowl the 17th over and got hit for a hat-trick of maximums by Sai Sudharsan and his over yielded 23 runs and that's where the game went out of ITT's hands. Sai completed his century in the first ball of the 18th over by hitting a maximum against T Natarajan. Sai Sudharsan remained unbeaten on 123 off 56 balls with 9 sixes and as many as fours and he got the perfect second fiddle from U Mukilesh who remained unbeaten on 48 runs off 31 balls.

For the iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans, P Bhuvaneswaran, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore and S Ajith Ram took one wicket each.
