11:52 PM IST, 8:22 PM Local Time: The experienced Irish fast bowler Mark Adair held his nerves to seal a 1-run victory against hosts Netherlands in the tri-nation T20I series at The Hague.
Netherlands won the toss and elected to bowl first. Ireland scored 150/8 with Adair top scoring with 49 off 24. Tim Pringle in an allround display picked up 3/32 before scoring a thrilling and unbeaten 35 in 13 balls.
Openers Michael Levitt (19 off 24) and Max O'Dowd (33 off 30) started off slow adding 39/1 at the end of powerplay. Credit to the Irish bowlers as they chipped with wickets at regular interval. Bas de Leede had 32 to contribute in 29 balls in the middle order.
With wickets falling at the other end, Tim Pringle, arriving at the crease after 17 overs with the team needing 43 runs in 3 overs smashed 2 fours and 3 sixes. Couple of maximums were hit on consecutive deliveries in the final over against Adair. With 3 runs required for victory on the final ball, he could only collect a single scoring a total of 18 runs in the final over.
Fionn Hand (3/18) was the pick of the bowlers with an excellent economic spell. Curtis Campher (2/33) picked up important wickets with Adair (2/34) closing out the innings with the bat and ball both.

And Adair has the last laugh!!!!! He nails the yorker perfectly and Pringle gets cramped. Taking nothing away from Pringle though. He was phenomenal in this run chase. Had there been some significant contributions from the top order batters, they would have won it. Pringle gets the appreciation from the Irish side. Well deserved!

1 Yorker on the leg stump. Pringle digs it straight back to the bowler. Adair takes the ball in the follow through. Batters scamper across for just a single!! Ireland win a last ball thriller by the barest of margins!
DRAMA!!!! DRAMA!!!! DRAMA!!!!! Pringle is all set to pull off an impossible chase. He is sparing no Irish bowler today. Can you imagine? 15 from 3 was the ask and he has hit back-to-back maximums! Pressure on Adair.

6 SIX MORE!! UNREAL STUFF FROM TIM PRINGLE!! 3 NEEDED OFF 1 BALL NOW! Brings Netherlands back in the game from out of nowhere! Adair goes for the bumper this time. Bowls it outside the off stump. Enough room for Pringle to play the pull shot in front of square. Its high and hits the midwicket rope on the full!
YES!!!!!! Pringle keeps Netherlands alive in this chase. Six was needed and he comes up with that.

6 SIX RUNS!! Pringle keeps Netherlands alive in the chase! 15 off 3 becomes 9 off 2! Adair misses the yorker. An off stump half volley for Pringle. Gets on the front foot and swings down the ground! Hits it off the middle of the bat and clears the long on boundary!
Adair makes a mistake here!! Wide and an extra run is conceded. That means the target is two runs reduced but with three balls remaining. Excellent presence of mind from Pringle. He set off for the run as soon as Adair had delivered the ball.

1wd Aims for the wide yorker and pushes a bit too wide outside off. Play and a miss from Doram. Pringle was backing up as soon as the ball left the bowler's wrists and rushes to the striker's end.
