Abhishek Sharma (Player of the Match): "Its just matter of time for any batsman that they realize its their time. I thought my days are going good so I should utilize it for my team. From the 1st ball my intent was to go after the bowler because the target was a lot and I wanted to contribute for my team.

I've told this before, the hard work I've put before this season has helped me now. In SMAT I was clear that I will target the bowler and dominate. I want to continue it as its all going good.

Brian Lara was our coach as well. I have worked a lot under him last year and am in touch with him now as well.

I'm just waiting for the balls that I want the bowler to bowl at me. They are bowling loose as well, going a bit defensive. I just make sure they are under pressure.

When inside I was talking to Nitish about Harshal paji. The more I was waiting for him, it was getting a bit easier for me because I've seen him taking a lot of wickets in the middle overs. I was very much ready for that and I wanted to wait for it and play along the ground. The 2nd one I was going for a single, it actually middled and went for the boundary."

Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "Yeah, it's pretty cool. Pretty awesome. I haven't heard any (nicknames). But winning six out of seven has been amazing and the fans have been brilliant.

It's been great. I didn't knew much guys coming into the season but there have been many great guys and we have gelled well.

(On Abhishek Sharma) Amazing. I have said it a few times. I won't be happy bowling to him. He is a clean striker of the ball and runs down the track against the spinners. Thankfully, he is on our side.

Nitish is a class player. Seems like he sums up the game pretty well and he is a perfect fit in the top order.

Really satisfying and exciting to make the playoffs. Most of the guys haven't played in the finals and me too. We will know which game we will be playing in a few hours.

That's a shame (laughs) (On told that it's raining in Guwahati)."

Time for the post-match presentation....
Heinrich Klaasen: "I definitely practice hitting those big ones. Practices the ones to hit behind square as well. I went back into the nets and worked on it after missing out on a few.

I was moving way too much. I challenged myself against the spinners and everything clicked again. I went back to the basics, watch the ball and reacted to that. It worked for me.

Its been a long couple of months. The schedule going forth, at the end of the IPL I will be fresh to enter into the T20 World Cup. Definitely supporting KKR tonight. We will be awake and supporting them to get us into the top 2."
Jitesh Sharma (Punjab Kings Captain): "It was totally fun. I'm excited that my boys really fought well, and I am very proud of them. It was a nice game without the overseas players, and we enjoyed it a lot.

It was a good score with this batting lineup. Klaasen and Abhishek deserve credit. My bowlers performed well. Discussions only help if you implement them on the field. We planned based on the wicket."
