For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash, Sidharth Gulati, Ajay Pal Singh alongside scorers/analysts Paras Yadav and Manish Bishnoi. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
STAT ATTACK- KKR will be at the top of the points table for the first time ever in IPL!
50-plus score and 2 scalps in an IPL match as skipper:

91 & 2/25 - Sourav Ganguly (KKR) vs Deccan Chargers, Hyderabad, 2008

50 & 3/22 - Yuvraj Singh (PBKS) vs RCB, Durban, 2009

66* & 4/29 - Yuvraj Singh (PWI) vs DC, Mumbai DYP, 2011

54 & 4/17 - JP Duminy (DC) vs SRH, Visakhapatnam, 2015

63* & 2/24 - Sam Curran (PBKS) vs RR, Guwahati, TONIGHT
Sam Curran (Punjab Kings Captain and Player of the Match): "I thought we played well as a group. We bowled well and showed great pride out there. We did not go through the motion and went for the win.

Nathan Ellis was good and we could have played him earlier.

The wicket was slow as Jonny said and we had a good partnership with Jitesh. We did not have to go hard. We showed great character out there and won the game.

Yes, me and Jonny are leaving tomorrow morning for England duty. Would have loved to stay till the end here, but we have World Cup duty.

Proud of the boys as they did a great job out there. We showed character. Hindsight is a wonderful thing as we lost close games and that's the reason we lost out on playoffs spot.

Plenty of positives for us. The way Shashank and Ashutosh played throughout the season. Harshal had a great season as well. We showed character and proud of the boys and hope that we can end with a win in Hyderabad.

Thank the Punjab crowd for all their support throughout the tournament."

Time for the post-match presentation...
Jitesh Sharma (PBKS): "I hadn't expected to bat today, but I'm glad I did. It's a relief that I was able to middle the ball l and contribute to our win. The pitch seemed slow, but with some intent, scoring runs was possible.

(On wicket-keeping) Bairstow is going for the World Cup, so he wanted to practice in a game, but I'll be back with the gloves next match. And my fielding isn't bad either (chuckles). In the last game, we'll showcase our caliber through our bench strength. There's no doubt we've already shown what we're capable of."
Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "Maybe a little more. Not this kind of wicket, we were expecting a better wicket. The batting we have, we should have got 160-165. That's where we lost the game."

"It is nice to have an additional bowling option as it gets tough when you have just five but I am used to it now for the last three years and we have quality five bowlers.

"We have to sit and accept that we are going through failures. You have to find out where it is not working for us as a unit. In the business end of such a big tournament, it is about showing character and standing up. This is the time we need some characters who can stand up and do the job for the team."

"We wanted something around 160-170, we have to play smart cricket and build those partnerships. Hoping that the results go in our favour in the upcoming games."

11:13 PM IST and Local Time: That's the end of the game and an impressive win for the Punjab Kings as they upstage the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati by 5 wickets with 7 balls to spare. This is Punjab's 4th away win this season and for Rajasthan this is their 4th straight loss. RR are through to the playoffs but are struggling to finish in the top 2. Kings have outplayed their opponents in all facets of the game.

Chasing 145 for the win, Punjab Kings lost Prabhsimran Singh early. Jonny Bairstow laboured his way to 14 off 22 balls. Rilee Rossouw played well for his 22 off 13 balls. But it was skipper Sam Curran who led from the front with his unbeaten 63* off 41 balls. Jitesh Sharma scored 22 off 20 balls. The Impact Player Ashutosh Sharma was unbeaten on 17* off 11 balls. 1 extra given by the fielding side as the chase was achieved in 18.5 overs.

For the Rajasthan Royals point of view with the ball, Avesh Khan was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/28 in 3.5 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal picked up a couple of wickets for 31 runs in 4 overs. A wicket to Trent Boult while Sandeep Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin went wicketless.

Earlier in the game, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first. The Royals lost Yashasvi Jaiswal early in the first over. Debutant Tom Kohler-Cadmore laboured his way to 18 off 23 balls. Skipper Sanju Samson scored 18 off 15 balls. Riyan Parag was the star for Rajasthan Royals as the local lad held one end up and scored 48 off 34 balls. Ravichandran Ashwin played a nice cameo of 28 off 19 balls. Trent Boult scored 12 off 9 balls. 2 extras given by the fielding side as Rajasthan Royals ended with 144/9 in 20 overs.

The Punjab Kings bowlers were excellent with the ball. Rahul Chahar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/26 in 4 overs. Harshal Patel is the Purple Cap holder now as he picked up 2/28 in 4 overs. Skipper Sam Curran picked up a couple of wickets to his name as well. Arshdeep Singh and Nathan Ellis picked up a wicket apiece with Ellis being miserly as well. The Kings were good with the ball and did the job with the bat.

So, the Punjab Kings beat the Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets with 7 balls to spare as they aim to end on a high. Rajasthan have now lost 4 matches in a row. Stay tuned for the presentations.
18.5 A Khan to A Sharma
1 Single and that's it. PBKS complete a five-wicket victory over RR, who slump to their fourth defeat in a row. A skipper's innings by Curran, while Ashutosh did what he does best. Back of a length delivery, angling in, but down leg, Ashutosh goes for the swivel pull, but mistimes it towards fine-leg for a run to seal the deal with 7 balls remaining.
18.4 A Khan to A Sharma
6 SIX! That's some shot from Ashutosh Sharma! The scores are level now! Good length delivery angling at the off and middle stump line. Ashutosh clears his front leg and whacks it nicely over the long-on for a biggie. Good execution from the right-handed batter and it sails into the second tier.
