That's it from the coverage of this game. Do join us tomorrow for a double header on Super Sunday as Punjab Kings take on Chennai Super Kings from Dharamsala followed by Lucknow Super Giants up against Kolkata Knight Riders from Lucknow. Stay tuned for more cricketing actions across the globe and formats in our network.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya, Deepak Prakash and Hitesh Peddurwar alongside scorers/analysts Manish Bishnoi and Raju Khariya. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Mohammed Siraj (Player of the Match) (Translated from Hindi): " Exactly, I didn't expect anything today to be honest. I wasn't feeling well. I thought I would not be able to play today, but I left everything aside and decided to play so I am feeling really good that I played well today.

To be honest, I have been practicing with the new ball. I haven't bowled with the new ball in the last few games. But today I got to bowl with the new ball and that remembered me about the last year. when I woke up today, I felt Siraj you can't play today. But when god is with us everything is possible.

No Captain gives the rest, being a main bowler I need to play. When I woke-up today, to be honest I manifested regarding Saha's wicket like I will release the bowl this way and get the wicket of Saha that way.

I have been playing red-ball cricket continuously. In the Red ball cricket we can bowl few balls here and there but we don't have any chance of error here. I felt like I was losing my rhythm initially but good to get it back."
Player of the Match: Mohammed Siraj
Interesting Fact - All five matches between these two teams have been won by the chasing side.
Faf du Plessis (Royal Challengers Bengaluru Captain): "Yes, we have been really good in the last few games. We have been taking the aggressive role in the field. The bowling and fielding was awesome and proud of the boys.

The wicket was different today. So, it was important to take the right information and adjust accordingly.

The last 3-4 games have been good for us and we have shown the fight. This is a high scoring game.

180 is par and you never know. We needed to get off to a great start and showed our best.

That was nerve wracking to lose wickets like that. The intent was right and the execution wasn't the greatest. We needed to show composure and calmness.

We need to learn the lessons from this game as to how to finish things off. But I am happy with the performance of the team and have areas to plug on to for the next game."
Most Fours of the Match: Faf du Plessis (10 fours)

Electric Striker of the Match: Faf du Plessis (66 runs off just 23 balls at an impressive strike rate of 278.26)
Time for the post-match presentation...
Dinesh Karthik (RCB): " Actually, when Faf and Virat were batting, I started with a cup of tea and after a couple of overs I had a cup of cappuccino, thinking that I am not gonna get an opportunity to bat.

I wasn't padded up, I wasn't mentally ready then things got changed and I had to pad up and get ready. (On Asking about, did you do pushups before coming out to bat) Chuckles! Who is this who knows all my secrets? Yeah, I did a few, I like to warm up and get ready. So yes I did a bit.

It's a very different sort of pressure when you are chasing a high total and this type of total. If there is a lot of time, then we need to make sure that we play sensible cricket and hit the boundaries whenever it is needed that's been my strength and I back myself.

I do think, the pitch was good for the bowlers initially. Yesterday there was a bit of rain, being under the covers, it got sticky and had a bit of moisture. I think our bowlers bowled really well the way they have bowled no matter what sort of pitch it is.

The way Faf and Virat batted was good. I don't think so they could have played those shots while batting first.

I told Swapnil, to be ready for the ball that comes in, the one that goes out let it go. He asked me whether sweep would be a good option and I said don't play half-hearted shots if you think you can execute then do it and he did that."
Dinesh Karthik handovers the Orange Cap to Virat Kohli.
Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain): "It all depends on the wicket. You know, the kind of wicket that you're playing on. I think in the first couple of overs, you get a good idea of how the wicket is, and then you play according to that. I think, honestly, 170-180 on this wicket would have been a good total. I believe how we batted and how we bowled during the powerplay made the difference.

We would have had an additional bowler, but after losing three wickets, we had to take some risks and opted for an extra batter. It's crucial for us to start afresh. Let's move on from this game, focusing on the positives. There are lessons to be learned and room for improvement. Winning was our primary goal, even in this match."
10:46 PM IST And Local Time: We have had an incredible game of cricket and it is the home team Royal Challengers Bengaluru who hold their nerves to win the game by 4 wickets with 6.2 overs to spare and climbs upwards in the points table. They have outplayed the Gujarat Titans in all facets of the game and deserve the win despite a middle overs collapse by them and mini fightback by the Titans.

Chasing 148 for the win, RCB got off to a blazing start courtesy of their openers skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli as they amassed 92 runs in the powerplay. Faf was the aggressor as he scored 64 off 23 balls. Virat Kohli played well for his 42 off 27 balls. The middle order collapsed as they fell from 92/0 to 117/6. But it was Dinesh Karthik who held his nerve and scored 21* off 12 balls while Swapnil Singh played his part for his 15* off 9 balls. 2 extras given by the fielding side as the target was achieved in 13.4 overs despite losing 6 wickets.

Gujarat Titans bowlers bowled well after the powerplay. Josh Little playing in his first game this season came back well after a rough start with his 4/45 in 4 overs. Noor Ahmad bowled a miserly spell of 2/23 in 4 overs. The rest of the bowlers tried hard but it was too little a total to defend in the chase.

Earlier in the night, Gujarat Titans were put into bat first by Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The Titans lost their openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill early while the form batter B Sai Sudharsan also did not do much. Shahrukh Khan showed good resistance for his 37 off 24 balls. David Miller scored 30 off 20 balls. Rahul Tewatia showed his bit and scored 35 off 21 balls. Rashid Khan scored 18 off 14 balls. Vijay Shankar scored 10 off 7 balls as an Impact Player. 7 extras given by the fielding side as Gujarat Titans were bowled out for 147 in 19.3 overs.

The RCB bowlers bowled really well out there. Mohammed Siraj was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/29 in 4 overs. Yash Dayal picked up a couple of wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs. Vyashak Vijaykumar finished off the last wicket by finishing with figures of 2/23 in 3.3 overs. A wicket for Cameron Green who bowled well and a wicket for Karn Sharma who went the distance tonight.

So, Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Gujarat Titans by 4 wickets with 6.2 overs to spare to complete the double over Gujarat Titans this season. The home team climbs from 10th in the table to 7th in the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.
