PHEW!!! Another night and another thriller. This is what IPL is all about. The Sunrisers Hyderabad emerge victorious by a single run. It's time for us to take your leave. It was a pleasure bringing you all the coverage from this thrilling contest.

For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya and Sidharth Gulati and scorer Raju Khariya. Until next time, cheers and good bye.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (POTM): "Ahh... That is my nature. But again, the process is very important. Even in the last over, I wasn't thinking too much. There was no discussion regarding the final over. We were just focusing on the process. I was not thinking about the result. It was about focusing on the particular delivery. Two good balls and anything could have happened in the last over.

I was thoughtless. I know; it was a full toss in the last ball. But he (Powell) missed it, and then you know what happened. I was not at all thinking about where the fielder was or where the batter was going to hit me. My complete focus was on executing the delivery.

The ball swung tonight. It was the first time this season that the ball swung that much. I enjoyed bowling with the new ball. I can't really pinpoint where the ball swung last. I was lucky enough to get the wickets.

My thought process significantly changed now with the way these batters are going about their business. I was thinking differently at the start of the season, but it has changed completely. Practically, when we bowled, we were trying to restrict teams to somewhere around 200."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR
Smallest margin of loss for Rajasthan Royals in IPL (by runs)

1 run vs Delhi Capitals, Delhi, 2012
1 run vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Hyderabad, TONIGHT*
4 runs vs Mumbai Indians, Brabourne, 2010
Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "Yeah, amazing game. The game was not done until we bowled the last ball. It's T20 cricket. We getting used to batters going over the line. In the last over, we thought anything can happen. Bhuvi nailed those last six yorkers. On the last ball, we thought about the Super over.

You try to get some wickets in the middle overs. It's hard. Nattu is an awesome yorker bowler. But they batted really well. We had to stick to our plans and happy to get over the line.

We have played some games here where 200 have been chased down. You can't give class players chances but they played really well.

Nitish played really well. Took the first 10 balls to get set and took on the bowlers. He is amazing. Great in the field and give us a couple of handy overs."
Most Fours in the Match: Riyan Parag (8 boundaries)
Super Sixes of the Match: Nitish Kumar Reddy (8 maximums)
Fantasy Player of the Match: Nitish Kumar Reddy (113 points)
Electric Striker of the Match: Heinrich Klaasen (42* of only 19 balls at an impressive SR of 221.05)

Travis Head (SRH): "Yes, it was a good win. The one we didn't expect in the middle of the game. But Bhuvi and Cummins were classy. The way Pat bowled was superb. He was gutted to give the boundary off his last ball. Very much satisfied with this win.

I thought it (201/3) was a great score. Nitish batted out of his skin. He has played a couple of good knocks so far, but he stepped up and was class with the bat.

We have plenty of good batters in this IPL. It was nice.

We are coming off a couple of defeats. It's nice for energy to get this win. But that is how it is in T20 cricket, and there are a lot of very good batters in the IPL. It's always nice to win in front of these guys (home crowd), and we have a few more home games now."
Travis Head hands the Purple Cap to T Natarajan.
Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "Yeah, absolutely. We have played some really close games this season. We have to give the credit to the SRH bowlers and their players for keep fighting till the end. We were at 10 runs per over till the last over.

The margin of error in IPL is so small and credit to them. Knowing the nature of IPL, the game is not done until it’s over. You have to be confident till the last moment and they had quality bowlers.

It was tough to bat against the new ball. I felt Ash bhai, Boulty, Avesh bowled brilliantly with the new ball. As the ball got older, it became good to bat on.

You have to give the credit to both the youngsters (Jasiwal and Parag). Myself and Jos got out early but both took the repsonbility and took the game deep. You have to give the credit to them for playing the way they did."
23:24 IST and Local Time | That's it. What a finish! Bhuvneshwar Kumar holds his nerves and helps Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) clinch a thrilling one-run win over Rajasthan Royals (RR). The visitors, unarguably, were in pole position to confirm their place in the playoffs, but Bhuvneshwar, who delivered the last over, ensured another favorable result for SRH at home.

Chasing a mammoth target of 202, RR were off to a terrible start as they lost two of their in-form batters - Jos Buttler and skipper Sanju Samson - inside the opening over. Buttler got an outside edge that flew to slip cordon, while Samson was undone by a genuine inswinger. Jaiswal and Parag then led a fantastic recovery as they counterattacked and kept up with the asking rate. Jaiswal and Parag both were handed a lifeline each, and they made the most of it by hammering half-centuries. They shared an exceptional 133- run partnership, however, none of them were able to stay until the end and carry their side over the line. SRH pacers - Bhuvneshwar, skipper Pat Cummins and T Natarajan - were clinical in the death overs and although RR looked in complete control, SRH stole a nerve-wracking victory off the final ball of this mouth-watering contest. Bhuvneshwar finished with three scalps, while Cummins and Natarajan took two wickets each.

Earlier, after opting to bat, SRH were off to a quiet start with Trent Boult and Ravichandran Ashwin mixing their lengths and not allowing Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma to free their arms. In a bid to up the scoring rate, the latter fell to Avesh Khan in the penultimate over the powerplay. Anmolpreet Singh soon was back in the hut. Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy then combined to stabilize SRH’s innings and the duo eventually broke the shackles after the eighth over. They specifically targeted Yuzvendra Chahal, featuring in his 300th T20 match, and managed at least a boundary in the next seven overs before Head was dismissed by Avesh. The SRH opener made a scratchy 58. Heinrich Klaasen then joined forces with Reddy and what followed was an excellent boundary-hitting display. The two added an unbeaten 70 as SRH posted 201, a total RR couldn’t overcome by the barest of margins.
