For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya, Ninaad Dixit, and scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. CHEERS!

Jake Fraser-McGurk (Player of the Match): "I was pretty nervous. I spent the whole day watching Bumrah's footage. But in the game, everything changes, and you just have to focus on seeing the ball. I enjoyed hitting the six, of course! But it was also great to be challenged by the best. Innings like these boost my confidence and reassure my teammates that they can depend on me batting at the top of the order now. From the outside, you can't fully grasp the level of competition; it's at a much higher level than other leagues, and it's amazing to be a part of it."

Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals Captain): "We were pretty happy with the score being moving past 250. But with the impact player rule coming into play, it is becoming difficult with each passing the game.

Definitely, I can do that (wicketkeeper coming up to the stumps). With the pacers bowling it full and wide, it's a bit difficult, but you have to do it to keep the batters inside the crease. The bowler also should be confident, but with a batter like David was walking down, and today it worked.

Fraser-McGurk has been amazing since the first day, and this is what you want from a younger player; he's getting better and better with each game.

Our chances are increasing day by day. Just taking one day and one match at a time. Not thinking too much ahead."
Most Fours of the Match: Jake Fraser-McGurk (11 fours)

Time for the post-match presentation....
Rasikh Dar Salam (DC): "Actually, it's a bit tough to bowl as the wickets are very flat nowadays, but I was told earlier to be ready, and I was prepared for it. Trying to complete the demand for the team.

We need to be confident because the game demands it, and that's crucial. We discuss our bowling strategy together, even before the game starts. We prepare thoroughly as a team. It was a smart decision, as you saw, because we got the wicket. Rishabh encourages us, saying, "Bowl the way you want, and I'll keep wicket standing up."
Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians Captain): "Ahhh... This game is becoming more and more closer. First, things were happening in a couple of overs. Nowadays, the game is changing in a couple of balls.

Because of the kind of games and the pressure on the bowlers, we backed ourselves into doing it. There were a few areas where we could have stepped on.

I will pinpoint a couple of overs where we could have taken chances in the middle. To be honest, when Axar Patel was bowling, he was a left-armer, and our left-handed batters could have taken an extra chance and targeted him. Unfortunately, we lacked awareness.

Jake Fraser-McGurk was brilliant. He batted with maturity and knew exactly which balls to attack. It was quite amazing the way he batted; he took calculated risks, and he played the field really well. It shows the fearlessness of youth.

No, I won't change my decision of bowling first. It was fine."

Piyush Chawla sends it upstairs for a no-ball check. The ball is well below the waist height and it's a fair delivery.
