For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentators Ninaad Dixit and AkshayaKrishna Polya, who, along with scorer/analysts Paras Yadav and Manish Bishnoi brought all the actions of this clash.

Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals Captain and Player of the Match): "There are a lot of things to be pleased about. We talked about the thought process with each and every player and today our team showed that we can play in that fashion. Really happy to see that.

One of the best performances. Its early in the tournament, I think we can improve each and every day as an individual but I think this has been so far one of our best bowling effort.

The only thought process I had before coming to the field that I want to be coming in a better way. That's the only thought process was in my mind whenever I was going through my rehab process and hopefully with each and every match I am feeling much better. Loving to be back on the field.

The only conversation was pretty simple, let's get to the total as early as possible. We lost a few run rate points in earlier matches so tried to cover it up.

We just love being here in Ahmedabad. We love the stadium, the vibe and the whole energy is coming together for us as a team and looking forward to play more matches here.

We just want to enjoy our win at a time. They are hard to come by but at the same time you got to enjoy each and every moment and move forward learning from it."

Electric Striker of the Match: Jake Fraser-McGurk (20 off 10 at Strike Rate of 200)
10:27 PM IST and Local Time: We are ready with the post-match ceremony.
Jake Fraser-McGurk (DC): "Yeah, I was trying to get off to a nice start and give our NRR a boost. It was about to keep going. When you're riding this wave, you have to ride it as long as you can. Cricket is a feeble game.

We got better of the conditions. A little bit of dew came in during the chase. That helped us. It kept a bit low as well, although I didn't face much of a spin.

It's surreal, to be honest, to have Ricky Ponting as the Head Coach. I have to pinch myself every day. I remember in his last Test, Nathan Lyon coming on as a night-watchman and talking about it.

We have got confidence in the way we play. It took us a couple of games to find that out. We have won back-to-back games now. With the jump in NRR, I guess we are at five or six now. We'll keep going, who knows. We now have a hang on our own game; I didn't need a second invitation to get going; that was my natural game."
Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain): "Our batting performance was very average, but I guess we need to move on. Even if we had a good game, it's important for us to move on from this match and maintain the same mindset for the next one. We need to come back and try again.

I think the wicket was all right, to be honest. If you look at our dismissals, the way I got out and even the way Wridhi bhai got out had nothing to do with the pitch. Sai got run out. So I don't think there was anything wrong with the pitch. It was simply a case of bad batting performance and poor shot selection I would say.

When the opposition is chasing 89, you are always behind in the game unless someone takes a double hat trick. I mean, this is halfway through the season, and we've won three games. Nothing changes for us. We still have another seven games to go. Hopefully, we'll win five or six out of the next seven and be right where we've been at the end of the season in the past couple of years."
10:14 PM: Delhi Capitals register a thumping 6 wicket win against Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to move up at the sixth spot in the points table.

The bowlers did a phenomenal job bundling the Titans out for 89 in 17.3 overs. Mukesh Kumar (3/14), Ishant Sharma (2/8), Tristan Stubbs (2/11), Axar Patel (1/17) and Khaleel Ahmed (1/18) sharing the wickets between them.

Chasing the below par score, Jake Fraser-McGurk made his mindset clear smashing his first ball out of the park and hit 2 fours and as many sixes in his 20 runs scored in 10 balls. His statesman Spencer Johnson removed him in the 2nd over.

Prithvi Shaw departed soon after with Titans debutant Sandeep Warrier claiming him as his first scalp before dismissing impact player Abishek Porel (15 off 7). Shai Hope hit a couple of maximums in his entertaining 19 off 10 but fell to Rashid Khan while attempting a reverse sweep.

Skipper Rishabh Pant remained unbeaten with 16 in 11 alongside Sumit Kumar (9* off 9) to take DC to the win in the 9th over.

Sandeep Warrier was expensive conceding 40 in his 3 overs including 23 in the 3rd but picked up 2 wickets. Rashid Khan finished with 1/12 in 2 overs, Johnson with 1/22 in his 2. Noor Ahmad bowled well but the Titans bowlers never had a chance with such a low total and a bad start in the powerplay to defend that.

Stay tuned for the post match presentation.
