That's it from our coverage of match number 26 in the Indian Premier League. Delhi Capitals climb to number 9 in the points table with LSG at number 4. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash, Sidharth Gulati and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Kuldeep Yadav (Player of the Match): "I wasn't fit. Got myself injured in the first game. It was difficult to see the team struggling in the middle overs. Wanted to get myself fit for this game. Credit goes to Patrick and Vivek. They have done a good job to maintain me and get me ready for this game.

All were good important wickets. Specially getting 3 wickets in the middle overs controls the run rate and the chasing target. I liked the first wicket. It was a good one and 2nd obviously, I have played a lot against Pooran. Execution was right and that was a good ball.

I'm pretty much clear with my plan. Just the length matters a lot as a spinner. Whatever the format you play in, the good length is always good. Just focusing on that. I am vey very clear and just very confident as well.

Whenever I feel like this is 50-50 [on DRS call], I try to go and whenever I feel like 60 or 40, I listen to Rishabh on what his thought is. DRS is something as a bowler you want to take because you feel that there is a chance of getting wicket. When you get 2 DRS, obviously 1 is there for me."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: KULDEEP YADAV
Rishabh Pant (DC Captain): "A little relieved. We badly wanted a win. Sometimes things don't go your way. But it's thinking like champions and fighting hard.

"We have had phases where we haven't been up to the mark. Some individuals have to take responsibility for that. However, it's important to stick together as a team.

"We've had too many injuries. However, you can't keep complaining about that.

"Most probably, we've found our No. 3 in (Jake) Fraser-McGurk. I hope he can continue."
Most Fours of the Match: Prithvi Shaw (six fours)
Super Sixes of the Match: Jake Fraser-McGurk (5 sixes)
Fantasy Player of the Match: Kuldeep Yadav (95 points)
Electric Striker of the Match: KL Rahul (39 runs off 22 balls at the strike rate of 177.27)
Time for the post-match presentation

Jake Fraser-McGurk (DC): "Yeah, I mean, I've spent the last five, six games on the, on the sidelines just watching it and itching to get out there. So just to get out there and have my first game to be a win, I'm stoked. Trying not to swing too hard and losing the shape and just trying to find the middle of the bat and just watching the ball and reacting to it. That's what I've been doing for the last twelve months and why change it?  (Which shot he loved the most) I loved that one over cover.

I don't usually hit that many on the offside, so. I think it's something that I'll continue to learn to doβ€”batting more out of the powerplay, focusing on my strike rate, and rotating the strike as well. I believe it's a skill that will come with experience, and playing more games will definitely aid in that.

I'm thrilled to be here; it's like stepping into a different world. I've never seen anything quite like it before. The firsthand experience has been brilliant, and I hope for more. It's an amazing time to be in India."
KL Rahul (LSG Captain): "To be honest, we were 15-20 runs short. We got off to a really good start. We should have capitalized on it and scored 180. There was a bit of help for the pace bowlers, odd-ball was keeping low, and Kuldeep (Yadav) put the brakes on our batting unit. Jake (Fraser-McGurk), the new guys when they come in, are very unknown. We've watched a lot of videos of him but he smashed the ball well. Credit to him.

"We always enter the field with the same mindset, assess the good areas, what pace works on a wicket and execute as well as we can. It's about giving our best. A dropped catch, and a couple of good knocks by DC batters (by Fraser-McGurk and Rishabh Pant) took the game away from us.

"(On Nicholas Pooran's batting position) There wasn't much spin for Axar (Patel), so I thought Pooran with the shots he plays can put the opposition under pressure. We knew that they (DC) had to bowl their spinners in that phase. Had Pooran got through a couple of balls, he could've been dangerous.

"(On Mayank Yadav) His injury isn't too bad. We want to make sure to not give him a game too early. We want to protect his body. He's itching to go. We just have to pull him back a little, maybe a couple of more games, before he returns."
11:11 PM: Delhi Capitals are back to winning ways with a thumping 6 wicket victory against Lucknow Super Giants. A Kuldeep Yadav led bowling attack managed to stop LSG for 167/7 and successfully chased the total down as the middle order finally flourished helping the side to their 2nd win of the season.

David Warner fell early with Yash Thakur getting the key dismissal. Prithvi Shaw scored 32 in 22 deliveries but was dismissed by Ravi Bishnoi in his first over. DC were 62/1 at the end of powerplay but the next 4 overs were brilliant from the hosts where they conceded just 13 runs and picked up Shaw.

IPL debutant Jake Fraser-McGurk batted up at number 3 hitting 5 sixes and 2 fours in his 55 off 35 deliveries putting DC ahead in the game again.

Rishabh Pant played a handy knock scoring 41 in 24 balls with 4 fours and 2 brilliantly smashed sixes. Tristan Stubbs and Shai Hope ambled towards victory after Naveen-ul-Haq and Bishnoi removed Fraser-McGurk and Pant respectively but not before the 2 batters took the game away from the hosts.

Bishnoi was the pick of the bowlers with 2/25. Yash Thakur was brilliant again conceding just 31 and dismissing Warner early. Naveen held the fort as well conceding 24 in his 3 overs. Arshad Khan making his LSG debut conceded 34 in 3.1 overs with Krunal Pandya having a bad outing conceding 21 off a single over and finishing his 3 with 0/45.

Stay tuned for the post match presentation.
This is the first time LSG failed to defend 160+ total.
