That's all from our today's coverage of 4th T20I between USA and Canada. Gourav Samal here is signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and Pritam Dey and scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Thank you for joining us. Stay tuned for all cricketing actions around the world. Good night.
Harmeet Singh (Player of the Match)- "I waited for this for a long time in my career. I try to do what I can do the best. I play with the lengths a lot. As the wind here is a factor, it helped me. I tried to go a little bit quicker in the deliveries. I wanted to get fuller to restrict them from hitting any reverse shots. It is a pleasure to play with this guys. I love the fearless cricket. There's no fear of getting dropped. The management backs us a lot. We have a very healthy competition in the dressing room. It is a very competitive team."
Player of the Match- Harmeet Singh
Monank Patel (USA Captain) : I’m really happy with the way we played today. Losing the toss helped us as we knew in the second innings it will help the spinners. The powerplay was crucial for us and even after losing some wickets we came back well and put up a good total on the board. He (Corey Anderson) is an experienced player and he adds lots of value to the team. His guidance and support will surely help us.
Saad Bin Zafar (Canada Captain)- "I think we did a few things wrong. I think we did well in the powerplay but we gave too many runs. I think 160 was a good total to chase but we failed to accelerate at the right times. Bajwa played an exceptional knock and he has shown promises. We went with him because he looked good. We still want to win the last game. We need to do a lot of things correct to finish the series well."
Best bowling figure in a T20I innings for United States-

1) 5/12- Saurabh Netravalkar (vs Singapore, 2022)
2) 4/17- Nisarg Patel (vs Bahamas, 2021)
3) 4/18- Harmeet Singh (vs Canada, 2024)
4) 4/27- Timil Patel (vs Canada, 2019)
23:42 IST and 12:12 Local Time | That’s the end of the match. USA defeated Canada by 14 runs in the 4th T20I and go up by 3-0 in the five match series.

After losing the toss, USA were put into bat first. Steven Taylor and skipper Monank Patel opened the innings for the home team. They faced an early setback as Monank was dismissed for just 2 of 2 balls. Aaron Jones and Milind Kumar also couldn’t add too many runs on the board. While Aaron managed to score 15 of 14 balls, Milind managed to score 16 of 20 balls. Corey Andwerson looked threatening for some overs before losing his wicket for 28 of 29 balls. When it looked like USA wouldn't be able to put a huge score on the board, Harmeet Singh along with Shadley van Schalkwyk put up an unbeaten partnership of 48 runs for the sixth wicket. While Harmeet remained not out on 34* of 17 balls, van Schalkwyk managed to score 15* of 10 balls. Steven Taylor remained the top scorer of USA innings with 39 runs from 24 balls.

For Canada, Harsh Thaker and Dillon Heyliger picked two wickets each while Udhaya Bhagwan Saad Bin Zafar chipped in with one wicket each.

With 160 to chase in the second innings, Aaron Johnson and Dilpreet Singh Bajwa opened the innings for Canada. They were down to 15/2 in 3.2 overs when Nicholas Kirton joined Bajwa in the middle. The duo added 75 runs for the third wicket before losing Kirton for 28 of 33 balls. Dilpreet was the next to get dismissed for 52 of 41 balls. Harsh Thaker and Shreyas Movva also couldn’t last long on the crease. Towards the end of the innings, skipper Saad Bin Zafar played a quick fire knock of 29* of 18 balls but it was not enough to help his team win the match.

For USA, Harmeet Singh picked four wickets in the match while Jasdeep Singh and Steven Taylor chipped in with one wicket each.
