Milestone
That's it from our coverage of this game. We will be back with more cricketing actions across the globe and across formats in our network. For now, I am Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Gourav Samal and Soumarya Dutta alongside scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Alyssa Healy, Australia Women's Captain - "The Bangladeshi bowlers have troubled us but it was a much better batting wicket today compared to the other day, and the ball came on to the bat well. They put us under the pump but we know that we have a lot of depth in our batting. These conditions are very different from what we get back in Australia and it is the back end of the season, so we have a lot of tired bodies but really proud of the girls for the effort that they put in and tried to get better with every game."
Sophie Molineux (Player of the Match): "Yes, it was good fun to run around there. Bangladesh put up a fight and glad to get the win. Plan was to bowl full and straight. Not much turn there and bowled it simply. Spinners bowled well out there all of them. That is one thing you have to do, Keep changing things up and vary the things and all of them bowled well. Yes, nothing really changes too much. Excited to be a part of the group and do well for the side. Happy with the win."
Player of the Match: Sophie Molineux.
Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh Women's Captain) : "It was a good wicket to bat on but how our batters batted today was a bit disappointing because this is not the way we play. We didn’t perform to our potential. We also have a good batting unit but nobody took the responsibility. When your top five batters are not performing, it’s always difficult for the middle order and lower order to take the game ahead."
Time for the presentations.
13:42 IST and 14:12 Local time - Ellyse Perry scores the winning runs and the Aussies win the second WODI by 6 wickets. The Australia Women have won the series now and it has been an absolutely comprehensive effort from them. They will finish off with 98/4 and they've chased this score down in less than 25 overs. Perry has anchored the chase and she stays till the end to end up as the highest scorer as she finishes 35 unbeaten.

Bangladesh were in no mood to throw in the towel and they kept pushing Australia back in the powerplay. Phoebe Litchfield was the first one to go as she was run out in an unfortunate manner. Alyssa Healy looked good for a while but she threw her wicket away. Australia were in trouble as they lost two wickets in the first 10 overs till Ellyse Perry came to the middle.

The wickets continued to fall for the Aussies as first it was Beth Mooney who looked to be too aggressive and got stumped and then  Tahila McGrath was run out courtesy a wrong call from Perry. Gardner came into the middle at that stage and she played a sensible innings from the other end as Perry took the charge.

For Bangladesh, it was the duo of Sultana Khatun and Rabeya Khan who picked up a wicket apiece and created the chances early on. They didn't give up without a fight and had kept the Aussies on tenterhooks earlier on. Unfortunately for them, they barely had a score to defend and it was never going to be easy against a mighty batting line up like Australia. In the end it was a comfortable win for the visitors and they have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
