So, that also ends out coverage of 2nd T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand. For now, this is me Hiren Kumar signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!!
Babar Azam (Pakistan skipper): "We started well in the first 6 overs. Credit to Naseem, Shaheen and Amir who were outstanding. We are experimenting and we will try out different combinations and then we will finalize our combination going into the World Cup. On the paper, all the players are match winners.

The youngsters bring in energy into the team. We have the experience and look to play according to the conditions. We have 10 matches heading into the World Cup and we will look to try out few combinations and do good in all the departments. Hopefully all boxes will be ticked before heading into the mega event."
Michael Bracewell (New Zealand Skipper): "Obviously, we didn't score quite enough runs there. I think we probably were a little bit slow to adapt to the surface and put ourselves under pressure there. And I think the score was never quite enough to be able to defend. But I was really happy with the way that we tried to defend that total.

Yeah, of course, you want guys to learn from the situation, and we've got a game tomorrow, so we need to learn pretty quickly and go out and take those learnings into tomorrow. Yeah, I think one of the things that we pride ourselves on is Black Caps fighting right till the end, and we did that tonight, particularly with the bowling and in the field, it's never over until that last run is scored. And, yeah, we'll reflect on that tonight and then move into the next game pretty quickly."
Shaheen Shah Afridi (Player of the match): "I was back to bowling after 36 days. In T20 cricket the ball does not swing much after a couple of overs and we need to adapt to the conditions. Hopefully we will find the best combination heading into the World Cup."

Welcome to the post match presentation.
22:38 IST, 22:08 Local Time: All over. Pakistan win the 2nd T20I off the 5-match series by 7 wickets. A pretty one sided contest as the visitors were completely dominated by the hosts.

It was always on the cards considering the inexperienced New Zealand side but they will look to comeback strong in the next one.

Put to bat first, It was not a typical Rawalpindi wicket but it was not 90 run wicket as well. The visitors were bundled out for just 90 runs. No batter looked settled and struggled against the Pakistani bowling attack. Mark Chapman and Cole McConchie were the top scorers and scored 19 and 15 runs, respectively.

With the ball, Pakistan played with a full strength bowling attack and they were clinical. The evergreen Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Amir were excellent with the new ball and ended with 3 and 2 wickets, respectively. The spinners were brilliant in the middle overs as well. Abrar Ahmed and Shadab Khan were excellent and picked up 2 wickets each.

Coming to the chase, 90 was never defendable and it was a walk in the park for Pakistan. New Zealand did pick up few wickets but that was never going to help them. Mohammad Rizwan was the pick of the batters and scored 45* off 34 balls. So, Pakistan go 1-0 up in the series. Stay tuned for the presentations coming your way.
12.1 M Bracewell to M Rizwan
4 FOUR! One bounce and into the fence! That's it! Rizwan finishes off the things with a boundary. Pakistan win by 7 wickets and 47 balls to spare and they go 1-0 up in the 5-match T-20I series. Over the wicket. Flighted delivery around off-stump line. Rizwan sits down on one knee and slogs across to deep square leg. The ball goes on a bounce and over the fence. A thumping win for Pakistan.
