Good Night.
1:34 AM and 9:04 PM Local Time | That's it. Gloucestershire have managed to clinch a win in the match by 5 wickets with 18 balls remaining.

After losing the toss Essex were put into bat first in the match. They faced an early setback by losing three quick wickets. Jordan Cox scored 48 from 27 balls and Paul Walter scored 43 from 31 balls to stabilize the innings. Matthew Critchley managed to score 16 from 23 balls and helped his team post a score of 141/9 in 20 overs.

David Payne and Matt Taylor were the pick of the bowlers for Gloucestershire who took four wickets each in the innings. Marchant de Lange picked one wicket.

In reply, Gloucestershire also lost their first wicket in the very first over of the innings. It was then down to Cameron Bancroft and James Bracey who added 83 runs for the second wicket.
While Bancroft scored 32 from 18 balls, Bracey missed his half century by just one run as he was dismissed for 49 runs from 30 balls. Beau Webster added 19 runs from 18 balls before getting dismissed. At the end, Ben Charlesworth remained not out on 22 from 18 balls and helped his team win the match.

For Essex, Daniel Sams, Aaron Beard and Matthew Critchley picked one wicket each in the innings to put some brake in the scoring rate of their opponent.
