Milestone
That's it from the coverage of this game and the series as a whole. We hope you enjoyed the coverage. Stick around for more cricketing actions across the globe and across formats in our network. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Wanindu Hasaranga goes across and collects the trophy and takes it to his team mates. They pose for photographs in front of the camera. They will celebrate long into the night and deserve the series win.
Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka Captain): "Yes, of course. I watched the first two games. Boys played well. The batters and bowlers did their job. I trust my skills in the day games and did well. Yes, he bowled really well and happy with that. This is just a series win for us and our bowling attack is good for them. This is the last series for us and we will get a lot of confidence from this series going forward. Happy to win the series."
Kusal Mendis (Player of the Series): "I think earlier it was a two-paced wicket, some balls were coming quick and some were slow. The first couple of overs were a bit hard to play. I just focused on my game, took my time, and managed to score boundaries. Both the batters and bowlers performed consistently well throughout the series. I'm really pleased with our series victory."
Player of the Series: Kusal Mendis
Nuwan Thushara (Player of the Match): "I am happy to be back to my rhytm. I am happy to be performing to my level and contributing to the team. First time I have taken hat-trick and happy to do it for my country always and I pride myself on it."
Player of the Match: Nuwan Thushara.
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Captain): "They started batting really well, but we made a strong comeback, especially in the last 4-5 overs. Credit to Nuwan Thushara for the way he bowled. We need to be careful in the first six overs. Looking at all three matches, we played well. I'm particularly pleased with Rishad, Taskin, and Mahedi's batting. We can gain confidence from this series, but we need to remember that ODIs are a different format, and we're excited about it."
Time for the post-match presentation.....
6:07 PM IST, 6:37 PM Local Time: That's the end of the game. Sri Lanka manages to hold their nerves to win the game by 28 runs and win the series 2-1. Sri Lanka won the game in the powerplay itself reducing Bangladesh to 25/5 in the chase and despite Bangladesh showing great fight, the hosts went down fighting in the end.

Chasing 175 for the win, Bangladesh were blown away as they lost too many wickets in the powerplay and suffered a hat-trick as well. They were reduced to 25/5 in the powerplay with Soumya Sarkar getting to 11. Mahedi Hasan scored 19 but it was Rishad Hossain who shone through with the bat. He scored a breath taking 53 off 30 balls and showed great fight. Taskin Ahmed chipped in with 31 off 21 balls in the end. 9 extras given by the fielding side as Bangladesh were bowled out for 146 in 19.4 overs.

Nuwan Thushara was the star with the ball as he picked up a hat-trick and a five wicket haul. He finished with 5/20 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Wanindu Hasaranga the skipper. A wicket apiece for Dasun Shanaka, Maheesh Theekshana, and Dhananjaya de Silva as well.

Earlier in the game, Sri Lanka were put into bat by Bangladesh. They lost Dhananjaya de Silva early. Kusal Mendis was the star as he held the innings together with his 86 off 55 balls. Kamindu Mendis scored 12 while skipper Wanindu Hasaranga scored 15. Angelo Mathews scored 10. Dasun Shanaka chipped in with a cameo of 19 off 9 balls in the end. 14 extras given by the fielding side as Sri Lanka finished with 174/7 in 20 overs.

Taskin Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/25 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Rishad Hossain. A wicket for Shoriful Islam and Mustafizur Rahman as well. The Fizz was expensive today.

So, Sri Lanka wins by 28 runs to win the series 2-1. Stay tuned for the presentations.
Dhananjaya de Silva takes a spectacular catch. But we have an umpire's review for a fair catch. Replays are in. Looks like a fair catch and the TV umpire needs one replay to confirm it. That will end the game and Sri Lanka winning the match and series as well.
19.4 D Shanaka to T Ahmed
W WICKET! CAUGHT! That's it, Shanaka puts the final nail in the coffin, and thanks to de Silva for a stupendous catch at deep mid-wicket. Slower delivery on a shorter length at the stumps. Taskin hoicks across the line of the ball but fails to get enough wood on it as the ball flies towards deep mid-wicket. de Silva in the deep, leaps in the air, takes the catch, releases it back in the air as he loses his balance at the edge of the boundary rope, and takes it in the second attempt. Sri Lanka win by 28 runs and clinch the series 2-1.
19.3 D Shanaka to T Ahmed
0 Full and slower outside off. Taskin leaves it alone hoping it would be a wide ball but the umpire is unmoved.
19.2 D Shanaka to T Ahmed
0 Banged in short on the stumps. Taskin swots at it but gets beaten by the bounce.
19.1 D Shanaka to T Ahmed
0 Back of a length slower delivery on the stumps. Taskin hoicks across and gets the inside edge of the bat onto the pads.
19.1 D Shanaka to T Ahmed
WD Over the wicket. Back of a length angling down the leg. Wide signaled.
