Milestone
So, that's it from our coverage of this game where India dominated New Zealand and move closer to the semi-final spot. Stay tuned for more cricketing actions from around the globe and across formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide, alongside scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Uday Saharan (India Captain): "I am fine. Just got hit on my face. Yes, we are performing really well. We wanted to do well and stick to the process. We executed the plans and Musheer played well and the bowlers did the job. I don't have to motivate them. They are up for it the whole team. Raj bowled really well and showed how to bowl. The spinners bowled well and that's why we did well for his side. Thank You so much. Hope to do well in the coming games.."
Oscar Jackson (New Zealand Captain): "Yes, definitely a tough game. The scorecard reflects. The bowling and fielding was good,. Batting let us down big time. It was gettable for us. Batting really let us down today. Lack of partnerships is hurting us and we need to build a long partnership, I think we were hoping it does more. But we were totally outplayed today."
Musheer Khan (Player of the Match): "Thanks to Allah. Great feeling. Getting two hundreds and want to do well in the coming games. This centuries gives me lot of confidence going forward. It is a slow pitch, and the bowlers are bowling well over here. Yes, the family is happy with both of us. I stick to the process by bowling wicket to wicket. Happy to do well and stick to the basics. I want to do well going forward."
Player of the Match: Musheer Khan.
8;00 PM IST, 4:30 PM Local Time: A clinical display by India as they kickstart their Super 6 campaign in style. They win the game by 214 runs and move one step closer for a place in the semi-finals. The Kiwis have been blown away in 28.1 overs for 81 and have been outplayed by the Indians in all facets of the game.

Chasing 296 for an improbable win, New Zealand lost Jones and Devireddy early in the first over and that was the beginning of the end. Nelson scored 10. Oscar Jackson the skipper scored 19 off 38 balls and top scored for his side. Zac Cumming scored 16 off 26 balls. Thompson scored 12 off 27 balls. 5 extras given by India as New Zealand have been bowled out for 81 in 28.1 overs.

From India's bowling point of view, Raj Limbani started it all by taking the first couple of wickets. But it was Saumy Pandey who was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/19 in 10 overs. A couple of wickets for Musheer Khan as well. A wicket for Naman Tiwari, and Arshin Kulkarni as well. All the Indian bowlers picked up wickets.

Earlier in the game, India were put into bat first by New Zealand. India lost Arshin Kulkarni early today. Adarsh Singh played well for his 52. But the man of the moment was Musheer Khan once again as he scored his second hundred in the tournament. He scored a majestic 131 off 126 balls. Skipper Uday Saharan scored 34 off 57 balls. Avanish chipped in with 17 off 18 balls. Priyanshu Moliya scored 10 off 12 balls. Sachin Dhas chipped in with 15 off 11 balls. 18 extras given by the fielding side as India finished with 295/8 in 50 overs.

Mason Clarke was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 4/62 in 8 overs. Zac Cumming bowled well for his figures of 1/37 in 10 overs. Devireddy bowled miserly for his 0/48 in 10 overs. A wicket apiece for Tsourgas, Schreuder, and Tewatiya as well. The bowlers of New Zealand came back towards the back half of the tournament but their batters let them down big time.

So, India wins by 214 runs to go top of the points table with 6 points. Stay tuned for the presentations.
