That will be it from all of us for this edition of the Women's Hundred. It was pleasure bringing you all the updates. Do switch tabs as the final of the Men's Hundred 2024 isn't far away.

For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh and scorer Zeeshan Naiyer. Ta ta. Bye bye.
Here is the six from Deepti Sharma that sealed the final for London Spirit πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»
Heather Knight walks up to the stage and her teammates are already waiting for her. She lifts the trophy and the celebrations begin. London Spirit are the Women's Hundred 2024 Champions.
Heather Knight (London Spirit Women Captain): "I am not the best watcher. Just saw the ball go over the boundary. Experience of Deepti to take the risk at the right time.

I think, we competed really well. Good to get Meg, and Deepti coming back with both bat and ball. So much goes into winning this trophy. I'm worried about the trophy lift, it's quite heavy!

Certainly, we were in a tricky period in the middle. I think we were clear in what we wanted to do. Making sure, we played, how we wanted to.

Obviously delighted. Welsh Fire were brilliant as well. A huge shout to Tammy and her team."
Georgia Redmayne (Hero of the Match): "Yeah, I'm not sure anything is gonna top that feeling. Watching that last ball. Everyone played their part in the competition. The bowlers have been brilliant in the middle phase. Our batters also did a fine job. The Fire Women were bowling tight. Shabnim with the wickets but our batters did the job to take us over the line.

We gathered here before the tournament started. We wanted to be the first Spirit side to lift the title. There were contributions from everyone in the team. I cannot describe this moment. Playing in front of the record crowd at Lord's is a great feeling."

Time for the post-match presentation..
Charlie Dean: "These sort of games are not good for the nails. But we always thought that we will do it."
Deepti Sharma: "To hit the six and win the game is a great feeling. I was not nervous. I had to think positive all the way and had the confidence to do it."
Georgia Redmayne: "It was a long time between boundaries. Shabnim bowled great with key wickets in the middle. I feel you are never in control of the final but great to get across the line in front of the record crowd at Lord's."
Danielle Gibson: "Absolutely buzzing. I was still thinking about my bowling. I was feeling that I had put my team down. But happy to contribute with the bat. I feel like I had to stand still and just see the ball and hit the ball. It worked for me today."
9:34 PM IST & 5:04 PM Local Time: London Spirit are the new champions in Women's Hundred. They beat Welsh Fire in an enthralling summit clash to lift the trophy for the first time. It went down the to the wire but Deepti Sharma managed to clear Shabnim Ismail at the long on fence to clinch the title for her team.

Earlier in the match, London Spirit Women won the toss and opted to bowl first. Sarah Glenn was the pick of the bowlers as they restricted the Welsh Fire Women to 115/8 from their set of 100 balls.

Jess Jonassen scored a fighting half-century but none of the other batters looked settle in the middle.

Tammy Beaumont made 21 off 16, Hayley Matthews scored 22 off 26. None of the other batters get to double figures.

Sarah Glenn and Eva Gray picked up two wickets each, while Tara Norris and Deepti Sharma got one apiece.

In reply, Meg Lanning again failed with the bat. She departed for four off nine balls. Cordelia Griffith struggled during her stay in the middle.

She made 10 off 11. Heather Knight too looked scratchy as she made 24 off 18. Danielle Gibson came out all guns blazing and played a nice cameo, scoring 22 off just 9 balls.

Shabnim Ismail picked up three wickets for 24 runs from her set of 20 balls but she lacked support from the other end.

There was a collapse in the lower middle order but Deepti Sharma held her nerves and hit the winning runs, lofting the ball over Shabnim Ismail at long on for a maximum to get the win for London Spirit, who will lift the Hundred trophy for the first time in the competition's history.
Deepti Sharma has done it. Shabnim Ismail fails to keep the ball in play at the long on fence. The Indian all-rounder is pumped, punches the air in delight.
98b Matthews to D Sharma
6 SIXXX!!!! Deepti Sharma finishes things in style. London Spirit Women emerge victorious to lift their maiden Hundred title. Their players storm onto the field. Pure delight in the stands as well. Heartbreak for Welsh Fire Women. Coming to the ball, this was a tossed up delivery on the stumps from round the wicket, Deepti dances down the track and swings hard at it. She launches it straight in the long on region. Shabnim stations herself right on the edge of the ropes. She leaps to get both hands to it but fails to hold onto it and parries it over the ropes. It would have been an outstanding effort from her if she had pulled it back but it wasn't meant to be.
Dean gets a low full toss and she picks out the only fielder in the leg side in the deep. A missed chance for London Spirit to level the scores.
97b Matthews to C Dean
1 Over the wicket against Dean. A juicy full toss outside off and Dean slogs it straight to deep mid wicket for only a single. Dean has really missed out on that one. She could have hit it anywhere but finds deep mid wicket. 4 required from 3 now.
