That brings us to a close of our live coverage of this Women's 100 encounter between the Trent Rockets Women and Birmingham Phoenix Women. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of Ninaad along with our Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav.
Ellyse Perry (Hero of the Match, Birmingham Phoenix Captain): "Nice to get one over the line. It took us a little bit to get going in the first innings. Slightly different conditions. Once you get going its easy to find the pockets in the ground. Once you are set it is easy to get going in the last phase of the innings.

It was defendable but we still had to bowl well. For us to hold the nerve like that and execute in the back end was awesome. Today they just did great things weren't going well for quite some time.

You just can't bury the last season. We have got a different squad this season. Its nice to kind of hopefully stop talking about that as we have won."
Ellyse Perry is the hero of the match.
22:00 IST and 17:30 Local Time- The Birmingham Phoenix finally have a victory on the board and they have clinched it by the barest of margins. They win by 3 runs against the Trent Rockets Women and it was a nerve-wrecking thriller in the end. The game ebbed and flowed till the very end but they held their nerve in the end and Arlott defended 18 runs from the final set.

Grace Scrivens didn't last long and was picked up early in the innings by Ellyse Perry. However Bryony Smith was really good early in the powerplay and she got a few boundaries. Nat Sciver-Brunt was good too but the duo slowed down a bit after the powerplay which built up the pressure.

Hannah Baker, Charis Pavely and Emily Arlott didn't give a lot away and it created the pressure. The boundaries dried up as Smith and Brunt weren't able to get the big shots. They got to 55 at the end of the 10th set and Baker picked up the wicket in the 11th set. She got rid of Smith who perished in the quest of a big shot.

Ashleigh Gardner struggled to get going as the run rate required continued to mount. However Nat Sciver-Brunt launched a counter attack and got to her 50 in style. With four overs remaining the game was evenly poised as the Trent Rockets needed 37 runs from 20 balls.

However it was one over from Charis Pavely where she picked up two wickets and it turned the game in favor of the Birmingham Phoenix. Heather Graham upped the ante and played the big shots. But the wickets kept tumbling at the other end. In the end, the fifty from Sciver-Brunt and the 30 of just 12 balls from Graham didn't work for the Trent Rockets as the acceleration came way too late in the end.

2 Right last ball and six to win. Full and outside off. Graham slices it over point but not enough timing or power behind the shot. It goes over backward point and the fielder from inside the circle chases it. Keeps it down to a couple and Trent Rockets fell short by 3 runs.

What a thriller we have had. Birmingham Phoenix get out of jail thanks to a good last set from Emily Arlott.
Josie Groves, comes to the crease. 6 runs needed from the final ball now.
99b Arlott to H Graham
1W RUN OUT AT THE BOWLING END! Low full toss outside off, squeezed without timing in the deep midwicket region. Charis Pavely runs in from covers and throws at the bowling end. Wraith drags her bat down but doesn't get back in time. OUT on the big screen.
7 runs to win from 2 balls.
98b Arlott to H Graham
6 SIX RUNS!! Muscled all the way for a biggie over cow corner! A half volley on the off stump line. Graham is inside the crease and uses her bottom hand to swing it across the line. Gets underneath this and clears 72 metres over wide long on.
Natasha Wraith, comes to the crease.

1W It was a full yorker and around the line of off stump. Graham tried to dig it out and took a single. She tried to go for the second run but it was never on. It ended up in a run out and it will be Alana King who will walk back.
96b Arlott to H Graham
4 FOUR! Full on the off stump. Squeezes it into the leg side. Short fine leg runs to her left and puts in a dive but the ball is far away. Square leg looks to chase but in vain.
18 runs required to win from the final five balls.
