That's all we have for you from this fixture between Southern Brave and Welsh Fire. The Match was Abandoned due to rain and the Southern Brave have qualified for the playoffs due to better NRR than the Northern Superchargers.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Saptak Sanyal and Hiren Kumar who, along with scorer/analysts Paras Yadav brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
James Vince(Southern Brave Captain): "Never in doubt that the weather has helped us. We were a bit sloppy and the home side was really good. Thankfully the rain came at the right time. 25 balls to constitute a game and we needed to get 42 from it which means around 22 from 10 balls.

I think on the haul, the bowling group should get the credit. They have done well and the in-form guys were reasonably great.
Southern Brave have qualified for the playoff with 11 points and a better net run rate. They finished with an equal point with the Superchargers but due to the NRR, they have qualified and will play the eliminator on Saturday.
22:09 IST & 5:39 PM Local Time| Well Folks, not good news coming all the way from Southamption. The Match has been ABONDONED due to Rain.
21:56 IST and 17:16 Local Time | The latest we can start is by 18:10 Local that is 22:40 IST for 25-ball contest.
21:44 IST and 17:14 Local Time | The rain has got heavier now. Firstly, the hover cover was out there to cover the pitch but now, the entire bowler's run-up is getting covered.
At least 5 sets to be bowled in both innings to implement the DLS method. If it doesn't happen, both the teams will get the points shared. We are just 9 balls short of it. And if the points get shared, Southern Brave will qualify to the playoffs.
21:21 IST and 16:51 Local Time | Players are trudging off the field as the rain has got a little heavier. James Vince was talking to the umpires prior to the ball on which he was dismissed and no prize for guessing the topic- he was discussing the DLS equation. He got a lapse in concentration and just a few minutes after that, Vince got dismissed and rain got heavier. Coles and du Plooy are back to the pavilion and following them, comes the Welsh fielders.

James Coles comes in at number 4.
Matt Henry knocks Vince over!!!!! Skipper tries to be over aggressive and loses his middle stump in the process.
16b M Henry to J Vince
W WICKET! Henry strikes and the dangerous Vince departs. Over the wicket. Fuller than a length ball, angling in into the batter, Vince looks to heave it across the line but misses and the ball goes onto crash the sticks. 2 down. It has also started to rain now and the players are going off.
David Willey helps the Brave skipper to ease off the pressure and the latter adds four boundaries to his tally. Southern Brave needs to get 42 runs from the first 25 balls to win the game in DRS. The sky is looking gloomy. The groundsmen are ready to come out with the covers. Vince is talking with the umpires but they decides to carry on.
