That’s all we have for you from this encounter between Southern Brave and Welsh Fire. The Southern Brave have down the double over the Welsh Fire tonight by winning both the Men's as well as the Women's fixture.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal who, along with scorer/analysts Paras Yadav brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. CHEERS!
Chris Jordan(Southern Brave): "I think it is time to go as per our plans. Hitting consistent areas was tough for us but I continued to do that somehow. Vincey is a very cool skipper and he works a lot on the endgame adjustments.

We speak a lot in the meeting that we have only five bowlers to bowl but I think it is a very balanced attack as we have guys to bowl in any phases of the game. Jofra didn't play tonight but we got the win. Having a good role clarity has been the key for us.

Last ball of my last set was a little bit disappointing but I tried to restrict the batters to hit through square of the wickets. It feels good to be at the top of the table.  We never finished on tp and as we got that, there's a calmness in the dressing room. We have to take one game at a time."
James Vince(Hero of the Match & Southern Brave Captain): "Yes it is emphatic to get the win. Glad to have won batting first as it was tougher condition. Our bowlers have been magnificent. CJ did what he has been doing since a long time and Overton has also been fantastic with the new ball.

Forming a playing eleven becomes tricky for us at times and that's a good headache to have. If Jofra comes once ECB allows him, we will have another option available."
Hero of the Match: James Vince
01:46 IST & 9:16 PM Local Time| A thumping victory for the Southern Brave as they have bundled out the Welsh Fire for 97 and have won moved up to the top of the points table.

Earlier in the day, Southern Brave were put into bat by Tom Abell. The Southern Brave openers got of to a good start with the bat.

The openers added 55 runs together and the partnership was broken by Haris Rauf as he dismissed Alex Davies for 16.

James Vince got a lifeline as he was put down by David Payne early on in his Innings when the Southern Brave skipper was on 7. He capitalized to its fullest and batted through the Innings with an unbeaten 73* off 50 balls.

Quick cameo’s from Leus du Plooy (21 off 13) and Kieron Pollard (17 off 12) helped the Southern Brave end up with a total of 139/5 in their 100 balls.

Welsh Fire fought back well in the last 15 balls to restrict the Southern Brave under 150. Haris Rauf (2/22) was the pick of the bowlers for Welsh Fire. They need to chase down 140 runs in their 100 balls.

In reply, Welsh Fire did not get off to a good start. Both the openers got of to a watchful start in the powerplay. Post the powerplay, the opening pair of the Welsh Fire was dismissed in a span of three deliveries.

Since then, they just kept losing wickets at regular intervals and were bundled out for 97. Tymal Mills was the pick of the bowlers for the Southern Brave with figures of 4/16 from his 20 deliveries. The Brave have dominated this fixture and won the encounter by 42 runs.

So the Southern Brave (both Women's and Men's) have done the double over the Welsh Fire tonight.
