11:14 PM IST, Local Time | Well that's all from today folks! Join us back tomorrow as the WPL 2024 enters it final stages!

Until then, this is Anirudh Modi, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arijit Kundu, and our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya! See you on the next one!
Jemimah Rodrigues (Player of the Match): "Good we have two days to recover from this, we have played 3 last ball games, from here it could go anyway and the only thought we were having was to stay calm and keep doing what we were doing and everything will fall into place.

100%, honestly after losing against UP, I had this feeling that it's going to workout and in the dressing room we thought we are lot more experienced and we could use the learnings in the semis or finals when it arises.

It was a little bit slower and lower, it was the same pitch that they used yesterday. I needed to get effective runs even if I looked earlier. Today was a complete team effort and there is no player of the match. Shikha Di bowling that over to two set batters, Capsey's partnership with me and everyone, it's a team game and that showed today.

I feel bad for her, and I told her this experience will help her in the World Cup and she might just score the winning runs at that time."
Jemimah Rodrigues is the player of the match!
Meg Lanning (DC Women Captain): "Couple of games in a row but happy to come out on the winning side this time. That was very stressful. I'm more calmer than I am on the inside. We feel like we have done quite a lot of things right in the games, even the ones that we lost.

I think we laid a good platform, the score at the halfway mark was good but not enough. If we bowled well and took our chances we could defends and great effort by the bowlers to defend that.

Conditions and matchups and doing what was the best for the situation. When you have got set batters it's quite hard to stop them. Little bit easier the next time is all we hope for."

Match winning moment for Delhi πŸ‘†πŸ»
Jess Jonassen: "I was not looking at the stumps and Kappy is glad that I did not miss. I was confident that I could defend as long as I did not get hit for six, but that's what happened. Nice to be on the other side after the 1 run loss the other night.

We were thinking to get the mid-wicket in and if we needed the boundary rider, but Richa was going to hit it regardless and then it was about figuring out the length and it came off which was really nice.

I think Meg keeps everyone calm, she knows the right things to say, even when on the boundary, she was keeping everyone calm. Lot of experienced heads and we knew every ball was vital and it came down to the last ball in the end.

Without a dount, it was really hard for us in the end. It was nice to know as a team we were put under massive pressure and we managed to come out on top and be top of the table. One more important game to go and we aim to finish on a high and push for the silverware.

Few players will be disappointed with their output but knowing it's a team sport, we are good at picking each other up, I put one down and it was giving her more of a hug when Shikha missed the run-out."
Smriti Mandhana (RCB Women Captain): "A tough loss to take, the way we were batting and especially Richa, it was a brilliant innings but sometimes when you lose, the credit is not given enough. Brilliant last over from Shreyanka too and Richa batted exceptionally well.

She had a niggle, tough days for her to fight it out to get match fit, she showed a lot of character by the way she bowled the last over. Does not change the way I want to bat, would have loved to play today for a better result. Last 10 years of playing International cricket, I have had a few partners, so it does not affect who opens.

You've seen a lot of Richa in international cricket and last year in WPL. Perry was going well, but unfortunately she got run-out and Devine's cameo there was important too, Richa carried us to the last ball but we missed out on it.

1 run does not make us a bad team, it was a good effort to restrict them to 181. We thought we could chase this down and I liked how the middle order stepped up, would like to tell everyone to keep their heads high."
10:48 PM IST, Local Time | What a game we have had here in Delhi! RCB have their hearts broken as the run-out on the last ball meant, Delhi Capitals Women won this game by 1 run! A valiant effort from Richa Ghosh but she cannot take her team over the line! Elation for Delhi Capitals!

Delhi Capitals Women won the toss and elected to bat first, and after an impressive batting performance, led by Jemi's 58 runs from 36 balls and Capsey's 48 runs from 32 balls, Delhi Capitals were able to register 181/5 after their 20 overs.

Shreyanka Patil was the star with the ball for RCB as she picked up 4/26 from her 4 overs!

Come the chase, Kapp put RCB openers under early pressure and Capsey reaped the benefits as she trapped Smriti in front in the second over of the chase! However, from there on Perry and Molineux consolidated and put together a 80 run-stand to rescue RCB out of the woods.

But Delhi were not done yet, as they managed to dismiss Perry and Molineux in successive overs as Perry missed out on her half-century by a solitary run. Molineux and Richa revived the innings once again, with the latter going to hit 51 runs off 29 balls before getting run-out on the last ball!

In the end, Delhi Capitals managed to take the W by the skin of their teeth to go top of the table once again on net run-rate. RCB stay in 4th position but they will need to ensure they atleast win that one to have a chance to qualify for the playoffs!
