That's all from this contest, folks! We hope you enjoyed our coverage and it's time to bid adieu. For now, this is Deepak Prakash signing off on behalf of co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. CHEERS!
Rilee Rossouw (Quetta Gladiators Captain and Player of the Match): "Yes, it was a W. That's the most important thing. Not happy with the batting but need to sort that out going forward. I thought reading the pitch is tough. Thought it will be high scoring but turned out to be low scoring. Enjoying captaincy and focussed on doing well for my side. Yes, we spoke about different people doing well and Jason Roy's message was simple go out there and chase the target down easily. Apply yourselves and get the win and we did that."
Player of the Match: Rilee Rossouw
Super Power of the Day: Mohammad Wasim Jr.
Energetic batter of the Match: Jason Roy
Moment of the Match: Saud Shakeel
Hanif Mohammed Cap being given to Salman Agha.
Time for the presentations.
Shadab Khan (Islamabad United Captain): "I think it is a fault of technology, and I think a different ball was shown on that delivery(Review of Rossouw). In a big tournament like this, there shouldn't be such mistakes. I bowled 4 overs as a leg spinner, but there wasn't much turn. This particular delivery showed impact outside off and spinning even further away.

I believe we fell short by 10-15 runs, and as a batter, we need to shoulder more responsibility. All three Shahs possess talent; today, Hunain showcased brilliance, especially suited for this type of pitch. He claimed a wicket off his first ball and performed well in the field. We need to adopt a more positive approach and play smarter cricket with the bat to secure victories."
Jason Roy: "Yes, absolutely. We bowled well to keep it to that score and then did the job with the bat. It got close, but Rilee held the innings together. I think I am doing well, but need to get big scores ideally. Good to contribute to the team and get three wins. The wicket was tough to bat out there. We are keeping it nice and simple. No extra special message and just stick to basics. Great atmosphere. Shane Watson is doing a great job as  coach and working hard. Great job from him. Sir Viv is a great guy and high fives with him is great."
11:02 PM IST, 10:32 PM Local Time: Quetta Gladiators extend their winning streak to three matches and thump Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United by 3 wickets and 10 balls to spare. This is the first time in four years that Quetta Gladiators have won three matches on the trot.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Islamabad United got off to a solid start as Colin Munro and Alex Hales scored briskly, adding 29 runs for the first wicket. Hales departed after a cameo, scoring 21 runs off 9 balls. Agha Salman joined Munro at number three, and the pair added 40 runs for the second wicket. Munro struggled a bit after the powerplay and perished for 20 runs, while Salman departed for 33 runs.

The wicket of Salman triggered a collapse for United as they began losing wickets at regular intervals, causing them to lose momentum completely. However, Faheem Ashraf’s cameo of 20 runs at the tail end of the innings helped Islamabad United post a respectable total of 138/9 in 20 overs.

Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Wasim Jr. bagged three wickets for Quetta Gladiators. Akeal Hosein chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Mohammad Hasnain contributed one wicket to Islamabad's downfall.

In pursuit of 138 runs, Quetta Gladiators lost Saud Shakeel for a mere 2 runs, but Jason Roy scored briskly from the word go, providing a solid start by scoring 37 runs off just 18 balls. Khawaja Nafay and Sarfaraz Ahmed failed to settle in the middle and departed cheaply, leaving their side in a precarious position.

Rilee Rossouw and Sherfane Rutherford, paired up in the middle, initiated the rescue mission and successfully steadied the ship by forming a partnership of over 50 runs for the fifth wicket. Rutherford contributed a valuable 29 runs before falling prey to Naseem Shah. Following Rutherford's dismissal, the Gladiators lost two more wickets quickly, but Mohammad Amir’s quickfire 11* off 6 balls helped the Gladiators cross the finishing line with three wickets and 10 balls to spare. Meanwhile, Rossouw remained unbeaten on 34 runs, extending his side's winning streak to three matches.

Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan claimed a couple of wickets for Islamabad, while Rumman Raees and Hunain Shah celebrated a solitary wicket.

Stick around for the presentation....
18.2 R Raees to M Amir
1 Short and wide outside off, Amir carves it away through the covers for a single to win the game for his side. Amir holds his nerve in the end and wins the game for Quetta Gladiators by 3 wickets with 10 balls to spare. They now make it 3 wins in 3 games.
18.1 R Raees to M Amir
4 FOUR! Great start to the over and this surely seals it for Gladiators! Short and wide outside off, Amir cuts it away square of the wicket as the ball races away to the point fence for a boundary. Scores are level now.
5 needed off the last two overs. Raees will bowl the penultimate over.
