That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Do switch tabs as England are taking on Oman in Antigua. For now, this is me, Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Paras Yadav. Tata. Bye Bye.
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Captain): "The boys showed a lot of character. It was an important game for us. We remained calm on the field and that impressed me.

Shakib's calmness at the crease. He struggled in the last few games but he showed what he is capable of and we are really happy for him.

We didn't know how the conditions would behave. It was hard for the batters but they did a great job to adapt and get us to that total.

The outfield is nice. The pitch is also good. A few balls stay low but that happens on any wicket. A really good wicket to bat on.

Mustafizur showed his experience and skills. Rishad also bowled well in that over in a pressure situation and every bowler stepped up for us today."
Scott Edwards (Netherlands Captain): "Yeah, I think we fell short in all three facets of the game. Credit to Bangladesh; I thought they played really well. We just weren't up to the mark in all three departments.

Well, you know, they obviously kept their wickets in hand. It was always going to be tough bowling to a short, windy boundary, and we didn't execute well, which was a shame. They probably scored 10-15 runs more than we would have liked, which made the chase a bit tricky.

I think we obviously knew they have some quality bowlers at the death, so we tried to get some runs through the middle. However, we lost those two wickets at the end, which halted our momentum.

Yeah, he's (Aryan Dutt) been sensational for us for a few years now, so it was nice to see him perform well, especially in these conditions.

I think it's obviously a little bit out of our hands now. We just need to focus on playing a good game against Sri Lanka and see what happens from there."
Shakib Al Hasan (Player of the Match): "Yeah, it was important for someone from the top four to bat throughout the innings. I'm happy with the way I contributed with the bat. You know, it wasn't an easy wicket at the start of the innings, but I think we held our nerves and put on a decent total. I wouldn't say it was a winning total, but it was a challenging one. I think the bowlers chipped in perfectly.

You know, hardly any international games have been played here in the last four or five years, I think. So, we didn't know what a good score would be. That's why we had to keep our wickets in hand and see where we were at around the 14th or 15th over, then decide how far we could go. I thought it was a decent total. We put the runs on the board.

Yeah, they had their moments. At the 12th over, they were, I think, 80 or 90 for three. Scoring ten runs per over on this wicket, with the wind going one way, wasn't easy for us to restrict them. But credit goes to all the bowlers for the way they held their nerves in the last eight overs especially.

(On practicing with a neck brace in the nets) Oh, no, no, I was just practicing something."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: SHAKIB AL HASAN
11:37 PM IST, 2:07 PM Local Time: That’s it. Bangladesh emerge victorious in this Group D clash. With this win, they have one foot in the Super 8s. They beat the Netherlands by 25 runs to get back to winning ways. The Dutch were in the game for most part of the game but lost it in the last five overs with both ball and bat.

Chasing 160, the Dutch got off to a steady start. Michael Levitt and Max O’Dowd put 22 for the first wicket before the former fell on 18. Tanzim Hasan Sakib dismissed O’Dowd (12) in the last over of the powerplay as the scoreboard read 36/2 at the end of six overs. Vikramjit Singh took on the spinners and scored a quickfire 16-ball 26 before getting stumped in the 10th over. Skipper Scott Edwards joined Sybrand Engelbrecht at the crease and both played positively.

The pair of Edwards and Engelbrecht pounced on anything loose and pressed on the accelerator. They stitched a 42-run stand between them for the fourth wicket. Rishad Hossain dismissed Engelbrecht (33) and Bas de Leede (0) in the 15th over which proved to be the turning point in the match. Edwards (25) departed in the 17th over and the lower-order batters failed to contribute as they finished their innings on 134/8 to lose the game by 25 runs. Each of the six Bangladesh’s bowlers, barring Shakib Al Hasan, entered the wickets column, with Rishad grabbing three.

Earlier, Bangladesh were asked to bat first and they got off to a shaky start. Skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (1) and Litton Das (1) fell cheaply to Aryan Dutt inside the powerplay. Tanzid Hasan played some lovely strokes and received good support from Shakib Al Hasan. Both put 48 between them before Tanzid (35) fell in the ninth over. It was a short stay for Towhid Hridoy (9).

Shakib held the innings nicely from one end. Mahmudullah Riyad (25) hit some lusty blows before holing out in the deep. Shakib brought up his fifty and he along with Jaker Ali (14*) provided a perfect finish for the Bangla Tigers. Shakib remained unbeaten on 64 off 46 balls as it helped Bangladesh get to 159/5. Aryan Dutt and Paul van Meekeren picked up two wickets each for the Netherlands. Their batters then faltered at the back end of their innings and fell short by 25 runs.

Stick around for the post-match presentation.

19.6 T Ahmed to T Pringle
W BOWLED'EM! That's it! Bangladesh muzzle Netherlands by 25 runs to keep their hopes alive in the mega event! Good length slower delivery at the stumps. Pringle clears his front leg and swings across the line but misses. The ball goes on to flatten the leg stump. The chances for the Netherlands to advance into the Super 8s look bleak now, as they need to win their last match and have to rely on the results of other fixtures in Group D.
19.5 T Ahmed to A Dutt
1 Much full and at the stumps. Aryan jams it to mid-on and sneaks a single.
19.4 T Ahmed to A Dutt
4 FOUR! A consolation boundary for the Dutch! Short of a length delivery into the pitch. Aryan stands tall and pulls at it, getting the top edge of the bat on it. The ball flies over keeper and races away for a four.
19.3 T Ahmed to T Pringle
1 Finally, Pringle is off the mark. Back of a length around off. Pringle backs away and slaps off the outer half of the bat to backward point for a single.
19.2 T Ahmed to A Dutt
1 Short of a length at the stumps. Aryan pulls it in front of square for a single.
19.1 T Ahmed to A Dutt
0 Over the wicket. Short of a length delivery just outside off. Aryan pulls at it but fails to get any wood on it.
Netherlands require 33 runs from 6 balls. Taskin Ahmed to bowl the last over.

Mustafizur Rahman finishes with astonishing figures of 1/12 in his four overs.
