Aiden Markram (South Africa Captain): "I think you will always be pretty nervous in the last over of a like that.

All in all, it was a thriller. A great game of cricket. Not good for your heart but good for entertainment. Good to be involved in these types of games. Sometimes, you end up on the right side of the result. Sometimes, you don't end on the right side of it.

Fortunately for me, I was able to hang onto it in 19.5 (on taking Mahmudullah's catch). It could have gone anywhere. Two meters here and there, it could have been a six and having a different conversation in the post-match.

(on the possibility of bowling Maharaj again in the last over) Depending on the situation, you want to drag the game. Seamers were bowling well; anything could happen in the last over.

We're putting Klaasen and Miller under pressure, but they've been great. Fantastic for Klaasen to get back in form."
Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Captain): "Everyone at the start of first over was nervous but we were confident that Riyad bhai and Jaker were there and they will hit a big shot. It didn't happen but it happens in cricket.

Tanzim worked really hard last couple of days and got us in the game with the new ball. Showed a lot of character today.

This is the match we should have won. They bowled really well in the last couple of overs, it can happen in cricket.

The way Rishad bowled in the last couple of series and in the practice, he showed his skills. We were looking for a leg spinner since last couple of years and lucky to have him.

Thanks to the supporters, I hope they will come in West Indies as well."
TRIVIA: Bangladesh have never won a single T20 international against South Africa. Having played 9 games (including today), the first match was played during the 2007 World T20. Today's fixture was the closest Bangladesh have ever come to defeat South Africa as the 4-run victory margin is the smallest for South Africa against this Asian opposition.
Heinrich Klaasen (POTM): "Yeah, getting that close was not so nice. But the spinner (Keshav Maharaj) has done the job for us. (chuckles) It was not so nice on the heart, but glad to go over the line.

It is not an easy wicket to bat on. It is not great for strokeplay, but David (Miller) showed in the previous game how to bat on this wicket. I got information from him. Miller and I batted well to put up a crucial partnership. We got a decent score, but I think we were 10 runs short.

We set our mind to One-Day mode till the 15-over mark.

We have done well to win three pressure games. This win will give big confidence for the boys. We're through, which is nice. One more to go in this round."
PLAYER OF THE MATCH: HEINRICH KLAASEN
Aiden Markram is the only second outfielder to grab four or more catches in a T20 World Cup match after Darren Sammy. The former West Indies skipper did it against Ireland at Guyana in 2010.
11:32 PM IST, 2:02 PM Local Time: South Africa register their third win in as many games continuing their winning run in the format against Bangladesh with a 4-run win.

South Africa captain Aiden Markram won the toss and decided to bat first citing chasing at the Nassau County isn't as easy as putting some fighting total on the board. The Bangladesh bowling attack led by Tanzim Sakib (3/18) made it difficult for the Proteas to score freely restricting them to 113/6, Heinrich Klaasen top scoring with 46 in 44 balls.

Bangladesh had a new opening pair in Tanzid Hasan and Najmul Hossain Shanto. The former departed in the 2nd over, Kagiso Rabada opening the gates for the Proteas. The powerplay fetched only 29 runs for the Tigers with Keshav Maharaj removing Litton Das straight after the fielding restrictions were lifted.

Anrich Nortje removed the experienced Shakib Al Hasan in the 8th over and returned in the 10th to send Najmul Hossain Shanto packing. Towhid Hridoy played a crucial role and scored 37 in 34 balls, displaying how to bat well on this surface.

Hridoy's 44 run stand with Mahmudullah kept Bangladesh's hopes alive but Kagiso Rabada chipped in to remove Hridoy in the 18th over. With 18 needed off 12 deliveries, Ottniel Baartman kept things tight and left Maharaj 11 to defend in the last 6 balls.

With 6 needed in 2 deliveries, the left arm spinner bowled a wide full toss to Mahmudullah (20 off 27) who heaved it down the ground and was caught inches inside the rope by Markram. With 6 needed in 1 delivery, Taskin Ahmed could manage just a single. Maharaj saved the day conceding only 6 runs and picking up 2 wickets in the last over.

Yet again, it was a combined bowling effort from the Proteas. Maharaj (3/27), Anrich Nortje (2/17) and Rabada (2/19) shared the wickets among them with Marco Jansen (0/17) bowling a tidy 4 over spell.

Hang around as we return with the player of the match and captains from both the sides.
Maharaj prays to the almighty, holding his hands up. South Africa hold their nerve to win three on the bounce. It's a case of Deja Vu! Bangladesh failed to chase as another team fumbled in the second innings at Nassau County.

Was that leg bye four cost Bangladesh? You can't have perfect rules in any game. Game of margins tilted towards South Africa today.

1 Full toss from around the wicket, pushed across the left hander. Taskin down on a knee goes for a big swing across the line and gets a top edge flying in the cover region. Just a single picked up, South Africa snatch a victory under their noses!
