If there's a rivalry in cricket that comes anywhere close to India vs Pakistan then it has to be Australia and England locking horns on the field.

Australia and England will face off at the Kensington Oval in Barbados in match number 17 of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday (June 8).

While Australia are fresh off a win over Oman, England survived a scare in a rain-affected encounter against Scotland.

The Mitchell Marsh-led side, in their last match, posted 164 for 5 in their 20 overs. David Warner scored a half-century but it was tough going for the Aussies on a slow and low pitch.

Skipper Marsh failed to convert his start into a big one and perished for 14. Glenn Maxwell got a golden duck. It was Marcus Stoinis who delivered the rescue act and remained unbeaten on 67 off 36.

With the ball, Mitchell Starc picked up 2 for 20 before hobbling off the field due to cramps. Stoinis shone with the ball as well, picking up three wickets.

Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa also picked up two wickets each to secure a 39-run win for Australia.

On the flip side, England only got to bowl in the rained-off clash against Scotland. However, they failed to leave any mark on the game. Scotland posted 90 runs in 10 overs without losing any wickets.

Chris Jordan and Adil Rashid were expensive with the ball while Mark Wood, Jofra Archer and Moeen Ali were economical but they failed to get any breakthroughs.

Which team will get the win in the high-octane clash? To find out, tune in at 9:30 PM IST & 12 PM Local Time for its live coverage.
