That's it from this high scoring game in Centurion. What a game we had and MI Cape Town getting the win over Pretoria Capitals. We will be back tomorrow with all other cricketing actions from across the globe and across formats in our network. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Sourya Chowdhury alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Kyle Verreynne (Player of the match): "Personally, this was a special night. Have struggled in the T20 game over the last couple of years. Sorted my ODI game but T20 needed work. So really satisfied. I have been working on taking more time in T20s, I know I have the game to have a decent strike-rate. Fortunately, some innings in this tournament have worked out. The pitch was one of the best for us in this tournament. Tough for the bowlers. Preventing the bonus point was a small victory for us. It is all to play for in the next game. This keeps us in the running. Hoping for the best."
Kieron Pollard (MI Cape Town Captain): "Just getting the win. The way we batted and put on that total. Well done to the batting side. Not happy with method of win. Got the win. We have to improve a lot. We will take the win and see what we can do on Saturday. It is not. We have played the entire tournament. Execution is lacking for us. We should have got the bonus point. We had them on the ropes, and did not finish things off. We got to recuperate and travel. We have to get back to Cape Town and see how it goes there."
Wayne Parnell (Pretoria Capitals captain): "Obviously, at half-time it seemed they had two many runs. But it seemed like a wicket where it was chaseable. But at 42/6 it was too big a hill to climb. But credit to Verreynne, I asked him to hit a 100 he delivered. Chuffed for him. Happy to not have given them the bonus point.
All to play for as we play them again on Saturday. We could have restricted them a little more. One or two of our batters in the top order need to deliver. These are very small margins. The prevention of the bonus point was always at the back of our minds. Hope Kyle delivers at Newlands too. The home support here has been amazing. We have enjoyed interacting with them, especially the young ones."
1:02 PM IST, 9:32 PM Local Time: Pretoria Capitals finish with a flourish in the end scoring a truckload of runs towards the end. But it is MI Cape Town who wins this run feast by 34 runs and collects important points to stay alive in the competition. They missed out on the bonus point but have done well to win the game. MICT deserved the win today without a shadow of a doubt.

Chasing a mammoth 249 for the win, Pretoria Capitals came out all guns blazing through Will Jacks as 23 runs came off the first over of the chase. But soon wickets started to tumble as others fell around him. Will Jacks scored 26 off 9 balls. But he fell as 6 wickets fell inside the powerplay. That was where the game was lost. But amidst all the doom and gloom, one man stood tall in Kyle Verreynne. He played the lone ranger and remained unbeaten on 116* off 52 balls. He single-handedly denied MICT the bonus point and took Pretoria Capitals to above 200. Skipper Wayne Parnell scored 23 off 25 balls. Adil Rashid was unbeaten on 21* off 14 balls. 13 extras given by the fielding side as the Capitals finished with a credible 214/8 in 20 overs after being 42/6 at one stage.

Nuwan Thushara was the pick of the bowlers for MI Cape Town with figures of 3/37 in 4 overs. Kagiso Rabada picked up a couple of wickets for 32 runs in 4 overs. A wicket for Sam Curran as well as for van Heerden and skipper Kieron Pollard also had a wicket to show for.

Earlier in the game, MI Cape Town won the toss and decided to bat first. They came out all guns blazing through their openers Rassie van der Dussen and Ryan Rickelton. van der Dussen scored a quick cameo of 21 off 9 balls. But Rickelton continued his majestic form and scored 90 off 45 balls. Liam Livingstone laboured his way to 12 off 19 balls. Dewald Brevis came back into form with a breath-taking unbeaten 66* off 32 balls. Sam Curran scored 22 off 12 balls while skipper Kieron Pollard chipped in with a brilliant 27* off 7 balls. 10 extras given by the fielding side as MI Cape Town finished with 248/4 in 20 overs.

It was a tough day in the office for the Capitals bowlers. Wayne Parnell the skipper picked up 3 wickets but went for 57 runs in 4 overs. Daryn Dupavillon picked up a wicket as well and gave away 73 runs as well. It was tough out there. Will Jacks was economical with his figures of 0/24 in 4 overs. The rest went for plenty of runs.

MI Cape Town win this game by 34 runs and climb upto 4th in the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.

4 FOUR! Ends with a four too. Full toss on leg, he swivels on it to hit it to long leg. Great innings, but his team was too far down the rabbit hole for him to get them to a win. But Verreynne's knock will be remembered for some time for those who were in attendance here at Centutrion. A deserved victory for MI Cape Town over all though, who were brilliant on the night.
19.5 S Curran to K Verreynne
4 FOUR! Another half-volley. Missed the yorker Curran and he offers a juicy delivery on leg and middle. Verreynne again jabs it over the bowler's head with his signature bat swing, one bounce to the long on fence.
19.4 S Curran to K Verreynne
6 SIX!! Creamed it. Verreynne is batting like a dream. In the slot, width also no offer. And he uses the pace and times it to perfection over the extra-cover fence.
The 200 comes up for Pretoria Capitals in the final over of the innings.
19.3 S Curran to A Rashid
1 Full and wide off off, opens the face to hit it down to sweeper cover to bring up the team's double century.
So, MI Cape Town won't get the bonus point now.
19.2 S Curran to K Verreynne
1 Low, in-swinging full toss on middle, walks across to flick it to deep square-leg.
What a way to get to his hundred. He gets there in 48 balls. Take a bow, Kyle Verreynne. He has played a lone hand tonight.
19.1 S Curran to K Verreynne
6 CENTURY! Brought up with a maximum!! A great innings in a losing cause from Verreynne. Short slow ball on middle going across. He again hits that signature tennis shot on the back foot. Lobs in over the bowler's head and it clears the fence. A well-deserved ton.
