That's it from this rain reduced and thrilling game that we had with Joburg Super Kings coming out on top against MI Cape Town. We will be back tomorrow with more cricketing actions across the globe and formats. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hiren Kumar alongside scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Faf du Plessis (Player of the Match and Joburg Super KingsCaptain): "What happened the other day in Pretoria. I felt like it would be another washout. It felt like slipping out. But glad we could get a game in today. Yes, it was a good performance in the first 6 overs. Good length balls were challenging for them. It was tough coming back and bowling those two overs. Then with the bat, Leus played so well. He played the lap shot first ball. Great to see. He loves batting in these conditions. He was great for us last season. We felt like left-right combination will be key against Linde and that worked well for us. I am a rhytm player and was not feeling right there. Getting better at it from the last game. I was one innings away from getting right there. I felt great out there, Frustrated with the rain coming in. Yes, the energy is different out there. To win like this and win with a bonus point is a great achievement. The boys are pumped up to do well now. Great to get the bonus point."
Kieron Pollard (MI Cape town Captain): "Sometimes, you have no control on certain things. We had 2 overs to bat and these things do happen and we can cannot control it. We had 97 on the board but we were expensive in the powerplay. Credit to the batters as after 3-4 overs we were out of the game. In the end, we need to win games to qualify and we will have to regroup after a couple of days for the next game."
Time for the presentations.
1:36 IST, 10:06 Local Time: The Joburg Super Kings chase down the target off 98 runs inside 6 overs and win it comprehensively by 10 wickets. It was a rain reduced game down to 8 overs a side after a long delay in proceedings. But JSK came out all guns blazing and did not lose a single wicket. It was the Faf du Plessis and Leus du Plooy show as they just massacred the bowling of MICT.

Chasing a revised target of 98 for the win, Joburg Super Kings came out all guns blazing through Leus du Plooy and skipper Faf du Plessis. They had a terrific two overs of powerplay and never looked back. The MICT tried to waste time out there with rain that was falling, but the umpires were brave enough to stay out there. du Plooy was unbeaten on 41* off 14 balls while du Plessis scored 50* off 20 balls. 7 extras given by the fielding side as the target was achieved in 5.4 overs.

Nothing to cheer about for the MICT bowlers as all of them were taken to the cleaners and came back wicketless today.

Earlier in the game, MICT were put into bat first by Joburg Super Kings. Rassie van der Dussen scored 16 while Ryan Rickelton scored 23. They were 43/1 after 6 overs when torrential rain came in and delayed play for 3 hours. The ground was waterlogged. When play resumed, it was an 8-over game and they got to 80 thanks to skipper Kieron Pollard who scored 33* off 10 balls including 24 runs of the final over. 5 extras were given by the fielding side as they finished with 80/3 in 8 overs.

Imran Tahir was the pick of the bowlers for JSK with figures of 2/13 in 1 over. A wicket for Lizaad Williams as he finished with 1/15 in 2 overs. Nandre Burger also bowled well for his 2 overs for 14 runs. Moeen Ali bowled a solitary over for 5 runs. All in all, Joburg bowled well and batted out of their skins to win the game.

Joburg Super Kings win by 10 wickets and climbs to 4th in the points table. This is MICT's 4th consecutive loss in this tournament and they are at the bottom of the points table. Stay tuned for the presentations.
