So that marks the end of our coverage from the nail-biting cricket match between Pretoria Capitals and Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Hope you have enjoyed our coverage. For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on the behalf of my co-commentator Anirudh Modi and our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Good night.
Eathan Bosch (Player of the Match): "It's pretty unexpected but I'm happy I could contribute to the team's victory tonight. I think said it last year, you play with some of the best guys in the world and in the country, so to put my hand up tonight and contribute is great.

The guys are ecstatic and put up a very good fight and we hope we can build on this. Dupav is really good and his execution was on point. We are looking forward to the playoffs and the next game here on Saturday."
Eathan Bosch is the player of the match.
Wayne Parnell (Pretoria Capitals Captain)- "Obviously, the last two balls were the business. From 2nd of January we are assembled and it is good to see the plans are coming fruitful. I think it was one of those totals where if they had got 35 to 40 in the powerplay, it would have been their game. Bosch and Dupavillon bowled in a terrific way and the job for the rest of the bowlers was to squeeze it down. We will try to regroup and find the next combinations before coming out against the Joburg Super Kings. Talking about Adil Rashid, I can say that he is a match winner for us."
Aiden Markram (Sunrisers Eastern Cape Captain): "It was a game of two halves. Credit to both bowling attacks, more to the other one but both teams bowled really well and it was a great game of cricket.

Probably if we had more intent starting out, but it's hard to when teams bowl well. Ultimately, sitting back, assessing what went wrong and adapting. We often find ourselves in such positions, hoping for a quick turnaround in front of our home crowd. Hopefully we can put up a good performance.

I think it's great entertainment. Most people think of T20s as high scoring but these low totals make for high intensity games for us players and hopefully the crowds as well."
Time for the post match presentation ceremony...
00:39 IST and 21:09 Local Time | The Pretoria Capitals have come out triumphant in the nail-biter by defeating the Sunrisers Eastern Cape by just 3 runs.

Coming to bat first, the Pretoria Capitals got off to a flying start as Phil Salt took on Danel Worrall for two maximums. But just after that, they lost Will Jacks(0), Phil Salt(20), Kyle Verreynne(9) in a quick succession. Rilee Rossouw and Colin Ingram added a few runs in their partnership but both of them got out because of a silly run out and the Capitals got reduced to 52 for 5. From that position, Shane Dadswell and Jimmy Neesham stitched a 52 run partnership between them. Dadswell scored 24 runs off 26 balls hitting 1 boundary and a maximum. Neesham hit a couple of maximums on his way to 27 off 26 balls. After that the lower order didn't contribute much and the Pretoria Capitals got all out for just 125 runs on the board.

Marco Jansen took 3 wickets for 27 runs. Daniel Worrall took a couple of wickets. Liam Dawson and Aiden Markram shared two wickets equally between them.

Chasing the run, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape lost their two openers, Adam Rossington and Dawid Malan cheaply for 4 and 6 respectively. They both struggled for 9 balls in the middle. Experienced Aiden Markam got out for 3 runs off 8 balls and right then, the Eastern Cape's run rate got reduced. They lost Jordan Hermann after that for 8 and the batter duo, Tristan Stubbs and Patrick Kruger concentrated on stabilizing the game. Kruger got out scoring 22 runs off 21 balls hitting 2 boundaries and a maximum and just four balls later, Marco Jansen also got out for a duck. Wayne Parnell's double wicket maiden over in the 15th over took the game away from the Eastern Cape. Tristan Stubbs tried hard but got out scoring 35 runs off 30 balls just after hitting a maximum against Adil Rashid. Liam Dawson contributed a lot for his team. He smoked Wayne Parnell for a couple of maximums in the penultimate over to reduce the target to 11 off the final over.  Daryn Dupavillon started the final over with a couple of dot balls and conceded a single in the third ball. Dawson got back to the strike and hit a six of the fourth ball to reduce the target to 4 off 2 balls. But Dupavillon bowled two excellent deliveries to finish the game and the Sunrisers fell flat by just 3 runs. Dawson scored 29 runs facing just 16 balls with 3 maximums and a boundary. That was a terrific innings from him on a sluggish track.

For the Capitals, Adil Rashid and Wayne Parnell took 3 wickets each while Daryn Dupavillon and Eathan Bosch took the remaining wickets.

Liam Dawson couldn't finish!!!! But nothing will take away the commendation from him!! On a slow track, he scored 29 runs off 16 balls when majority of his teammates had a torrid run.
19.6 D Dupavillon to L Dawson
0 DOT BALL! Pretoria win it on the last ball despite Dawson's heroics! They take the game by 3 runs! Full length delivery, outside the off stump, Dawson misses out on a scoop and hands the victory to Pretoria! What a victory for the home side!
DOT BALL!! Excellent yorker execution from Dupavillon! The match couldn't have been more interesting than this!!! 4 needed off the final ball. All eyes on Liam Dawson now.
19.5 D Dupavillon to L Dawson
0 DOT BALL! This will be decided on the last delivery! Perfect yorker, right in the blockhole and Dawson is left with no choice but to defend!
WHOAAAAA!!!!!!!! Liam Dawson! You beauty man!!!! Sunrisers need just 4 runs off 2 balls now.
19.4 D Dupavillon to L Dawson
6 SIX! Bang! Dawson is in beast mode here! Sunrisers are now one strike away from victory! Good length delivery, outside the off stump, Dawson lifts it inside out over the covers boundary for a big MAXIMUM! 4 runs required off 2 balls!
Dawson is back on strike! 10 from 3 balls, can he do it? The fielding side is having a symposium there at the bowling end.
19.3 D Dupavillon to D Worrall
1 Single to bring Dawson back on strike, back of a length delivery, on the stumps, runs it down to third man for a run, 10 required from 3 balls.
