Yeah, it worked out nicely. Like, as for us last year, trying to sort of incorporate that into this year, but I suppose it just comes down to each individual and their character and how much they're willing to put out on the line for this team. And the guys have responded beautifully to that.

Glad to see that Wiaan Mulder's hard work has paid off. Unfortunately, we couldn't cross the line in this game. Thanks to the crowd for turning up in huge numbers. We'll make a strong comeback."

Reece Topley removed Dawid Malan while Quinton de Kock ran out Tom Abell. Aiden Markram, the Sunrisers Eastern Cape skipper, had a good partnership with Stubbs but Marcus Stoinis returned to dismiss Markram and Pat Kruger off consecutive balls. The running between the wickets was splendid throughout. The SEC batters stole many doubles by finding gaps. Later, Stubbs and Marco Jansen took it deep and helped their team cross the line with four balls remaining. Jansen contributed an unbeaten 24 off 14 balls.
Earlier, Durban’s Super Giants posted 159/7 in their full quota of 20 overs, thanks to Wiaan Mulder’s blistering half-century. Before Mulder’s blazing knock, offspinner Simon Harmer spun a web, finishing with a four-wicket haul.
